Watch Bernie Sanders' Larry David Impression on 'Kimmel'

Presidential hopeful responds to 'Curb' star's dead-on portrayal of him on 'Saturday Night Live'

Bernie Sanders answered all the important questions during his interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Wednesday night, including the one every liberal has been dying to ask: What did the presidential hopeful think of Larry David's impression of him on Saturday Night Live?

Kimmel dutifully tossed the question to Sanders at the end of their substantive chat. Sanders pressed his lips, took a breath and finally replied: "Well, I thought it was pretty, pretty, pretty good!"

The line, of course, is a classic David catchphrase on Curb Your Enthusiasm. Still, it was difficult to tell where Sanders' regular Brooklynite mannerisms ended and his impression of the Seinfeld co-creator began.

As for David, he proved to be a dead-ringer for the junior Senator from Vermont on last weekend's Saturday Night Live. The Curb star struck a perfect balance between revolutionary firebrand and cantankerous Jewish grandpa, throwing up his hands and declaring in defense of Hillary Clinton, "What's the deal with e-mail anyway?"

Elsewhere on Jimmy Kimmel Live! — which is broadcasting from Sanders' home borough of Brooklyn this week — the host discussed actual issues with the candidate including college tuition, the war on drugs and his overall electability.
