The bit featured the hit Netflix show's young stars, Finn Wolfhard (Mike), Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin) and Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas), reprising their roles, as well as Jimmy Fallon stepping in as a spot-on Steve. After breaking up the kids' game of Dungeons and Dragons, Steve informed them he got them all a New Year's present, causing the lights to flicker as Barb descended into the basement.
Played by Tonight Show writer A.D. Miles, Barb fumed about being left in the Upside Down. "Let's review shall we: There were two people down there, and you rescued one of them," Barb raged, flashing two fingers, then only leaving her middle up.
While the kids attempted to apologize, Barb was inconsolable and vented, "No search party for Barb! No fake corpse stuffed with cotton for Barb!" before suddenly coughing up a slug leftover from the Upside Down. She then informed the kids that she had been able to return to Hawkins by trading Will to the Demogorgon. But just because she was back, did not mean she was returning for Season Two of Stranger Things: "Barb's getting her own Netflix spin-off — Orange Is The New Bitch."
The Stranger Things kids also sat down with Fallon to talk about the Netflix show, and play a card game that also included a lot of silly string.
'Stranger Things' actor Noah Schnapp discusses the Netflix show, and what's next for his character in season two. Watch here.
