Watch Adele Perform 'When We Were Young,' Save Thanksgiving on 'SNL'

Singer delivers '25' tracks as musical guest while "Hello" serves as centerpiece of Thanksgiving sketch

Adele served as musical guest on 'Saturday Night Live,' an episode that also featured a Thanksgiving sketch based around the singer's "Hello"

Adele wrapped up a week of promoting her potentially record-breaking LP 25 by serving as musical guest on Saturday Night Live. During her visit, the singer delivered a pair of flawless, brilliant renditions, first with a performance of "Hello" and then "When We Were Young."

While Adele did not appear in any sketches during the Matthew McConaughey-hosted episode, immediately after McConaughey's opening monologue, the singer's presence was immediately felt in a sketch titled "A Thanksgiving Miracle."

In the clip, the SNL cast play a family with very different ideologies that are brought together at a dinner table to celebrate the holiday. The family argues about ISIS, Ben Carson and Black Lives Matter, but all their bickering halts the moment the piano from Adele's "Hello" kicks on, turning the awkward Thanksgiving into a festive sing-along.

As the sketch continues, the dinner more and more begins to resemble the green-tinted, wind-blasted "Hello" video itself, with all of the cast members and even McConaughey soon manifesting Adele's look, right down to her unique fur coat. Once peace is struck at the dinner table at the conclusion of the song, the little girl who saved Thanksgiving says, "Thanks Adele." The singer seemed to enjoy "A Thanksgiving Miracle" as she posted an Instagram photo of herself laughing to the sketch while waiting backstage to perform.

Adele next appears on NBC December 14th for her Live in New York City special, featuring a concert the singer performed at Radio City Music Hall on November 17th.
