Walking Dead star David Morrissey is set to play the lead role in AMC's new pilot Line of Sight. Morrissey, who plays the Governor on The Walking Dead, will shoot the new show in addition to the fourth season of AMC's zombie drama, Deadline reports.

"We are huge fans of David Morrissey and are glad he’ll be doing double duty for AMC viewers through his work on The Walking Dead and our pilot for Line Of Sight, both of which are produced in Atlanta," said AMC in a statement.

'Walking Dead' Teases Season Four With Zombie Chase

Morrissey's casting in Line of Sight is expected to fuel talk that his character on The Walking Dead will be killed off. Initially, the actor only signed on for Season Three of the zombie show, but was brought back for Season Four and also made an appearance at the show's Comic Con panel last month.

Line of Sight will chronicle the life of Lewis Bent (Morrissey), a National Transportation Safety Board investigator who survives a mysterious plane crash and sets out to uncover the cause.
