See How 'American Horror Story' Interpreted Drake's 'Hotline Bling'

Matt Bomer pulled out his best Drake moves in brief scene

American Horror Story was able to sneak in a reference to one of the year's biggest musical phenomenons last night when one of this season's main characters danced to Drake's "Hotline Bling."

In the quick clip, which comes via E!, actor Matt Bomer, who plays the ageless Donovan on AHS: Hotel, is seen wiggling to Drake's single in his room with a cigarette in his mouth and a drink in hand. He hits a few of the rapper's meme-able dance moves from the "Hotline Bling" video until the crying Countess, played by Lady Gaga, interrupts his private party.

American Horror Story's past seasons have often incorporated musical moments. Musicians like Gaga, Adam Levine and Patti Lupone have played characters throughout the series, while Stevie Nicks showed up as herself in American Horror Story: Coven and sang Fleetwood Mac's "Rhiannon" and her own "Has Anyone Ever Written Anything About You?" During last year's American Horror Story: Freak Show, characters covered Fiona Apple, Lana Del Rey and David Bowie throughout the season.
