Where Does Miley Cyrus' 'Bangerz' Rank on Our 50 Best Albums of 2013 List?

Blondie made their debut on New Year's Rockin' Eve 40 years ago, in 1979. Their return to Times Square this year will make their first appearance on the program in 30 years.

Cyrus and Macklemore and Ryan Lewis have had plenty to celebrate in 2013. She released a buzzed-about new album, Bangerz, and made waves with her twerk-heavy performance at the MTV Video Music Awards. Macklemore and Ryan Lewis had a breakout year that last week included a trio of sold-out hometown concerts at KeyArena in Seattle. Both Cyrus and Macklemore appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone this year, Cyrus in September and Macklemore in August.

Dick Clark's New Years Rockin' Eve will begin at 8 p.m. EST on ABC on December 31st.
