Michael Bolton's All-Star 'Big Sexy' Valentine's Special Heads to Netflix

The Lonely Island, Sarah Silverman, Fred Armisen, Maya Rudolph and more tapped for balladeer's variety show

Netflix will give the gift of Michael Bolton this Valentine's Day with an all-star variety special to "get people in the mood to make love."

Netflix will treat subscribers to the gift of Michael Bolton this Valentine's Day with a new, all-star variety special that aims to "get people in the mood to make love."

Michael Bolton's Big Sexy Valentine’s Day Special, starring the balladeer, features special guests like the Lonely Island's Andy Samberg and Jorma Taccone, Sarah Silverman, Fred Armisen, Maya Rudolph, Casey Wilson, Chris Parnell, Eric Andre, Michael Sheen and Randall Park.

The Lonely Island's Akiva Schaffer and Comedy Bang! Bang!'s Scott Aukerman directed the Big Sexy Valentine's Day Special, which will feature Bolton performing "an array of love songs made up of both classic hits and all-new original love-making music," Netflix said. In 2013, The Lonely Island gushed about Bolton during a Reddit AMA.

The special itself premieres on the streaming service on February 7th.

Along with Michael Bolton's Big Sexy Valentine’s Day Special, on Friday Netflix announced the January 2017 arrival of new stand-up specials by comedians like Jen Kirkman, Neal Brennan and Cristela Alonzo.

Recently, Netflix revealed they had reached deals with both Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle to bring long-awaited new stand-up specials to the service. Chappelle, the comedian will unleash three new specials on Netflix throughout 2017, while Rock's upcoming Total Blackout tour will yield his two planned specials.
