Kimmel's Lie Witness News Tests Believability of Kim, Kanye Baby Names

Crack team discovers people not phased by "Kia Sorento West," "Fievel Goes West"

'Jimmy Kimmel Live!'s Lie Witness News hit the streets to discover which fake names people would believe Kim and Kanye gave their newborn boy

Jimmy Kimmel Live!'s Lie Witness News team hit the streets Monday to find out which fake names real people would believe Kanye West and Kim Kardashian actually named their newborn boy, Saint. Amazingly, "Kia Sorento West" isn't that farfetched.

"Thought it was awesome, thought it was classic Kanye," one interviewee said of "Kia." "Who else could come up with a name like that and get away with it? Nobody but Kanye."

Among the other false names given were "Fievel Goes West," "Fastest Gun In the West," and "Keurig Kardashian West," all of which people insisted they'd seen trending and meme'd on Facebook and Instagram. One guy even passed along some sweet words of wisdom to "Fastest Gun In the West," telling the baby boy, "Good luck in school, I suppose."

Fittingly, the bit finished with a tongue-twisting honorific too convoluted to reproduce in full, though its components included "Kalisi," "Klondike," "Kimchi," "Kombucha," "Kielbasa" and "Kaleidoscope."

"Not surprised at all," a woman replied. "I wouldn't put it past them."
