Welcome back, Lorelai and Rory Gilmore! The ladies of Stars Hollow are back with more fast-paced pop culture references, junk food addictions and their impenetrable familial bond in the new trailer for Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life. The series, which is set to debut on Netflix on November 25th, catches up with the famous mother-daughter duo over four 90-minute episodes that tackle each season within, yes, a year of their life.
As seen in the trailer, the Gilmore women are all at a crossroads in their lives. Emily Gilmore, the matriarch, is dealing with the death of her husband of 50 years, Richard. Lorelai has been happy with diner owner Luke, whom she is engaged to, though she is looking for something more in her life. Meanwhile, the youngest member of the family, Rory, is a writer leaving a "vagabond" lifestyle as her grandmother describes it and figuring out her career. The trailer teases the return of her three main love interests throughout the series as well.
Gilmore Girls debuted in 2000 and ran for seven seasons before it was cancelled. The entire series began streaming on Netflix in 2014 and the show's revival was officially announced a year later.
