Charlie Sheen would like to make amends with Two and a Half Men co-creator Chuck Lorre. On Sunday, the actor tweeted in letter form, "Hey Chuck. I have an idea that u need to hear after I make amends to you and yours. Which I will do in person. xox C." It included an image of the People's Choice Award Sheen won in 2007 for his work on the show.

Lorre fired Sheen from the program in 2011. The decision followed comments Sheen made during a radio interview, where he referenced Lorre's real name, Charles Levine, calling him "Chaim Levine." He also called Lorre a "stupid little man." The show's network, CBS, reacted by suspending the final four episodes of the season and dismissing him. Sheen filed a $100 million lawsuit against Lorre, which they settled out of court in 2011. At the time, he was the highest-paid actor on TV. Lorre was quoted at the time as saying, "The [studio and the network] chose to make a moral decision as opposed to a financial one."

In a June 2012 Rolling Stone cover story, Sheen referred to Lorre as a "low-rent, nutless sociopath." He said, "I can't help myself with this guy, sorry. He's a turd. A turd! The good news is, he's no longer stuck to my shoe."

Following his firing, Sheen coined a number of catchphrases ranging from "tiger blood" to "winning" and then embarked on a spoken word tour that he named "My Violent Torpedo of Truth." In 2012, he began starring in a new sitcom, Anger Management, which broke ratings records. At the time, he said that the show would be his "swan song."

Sheen's olive branch came on the heels of a potentially libelous Twitter tirade he unleashed that same day on his ex-wife, Brooke Mueller, about the custody of their children. He did this despite a warning from an "anus-brain" judge to stay silent on the matter. He tweeted: "So lemme see if I got this straight. My twin boys are now in harm's way and in grave danger. Being 'raised' by a gaggle of incompetent and lascivious marionettes all ruled and fooled by an adderol [sic] snorting husk called Brooke. And guess what [Child Protective Services] and 'I'm Italian' judge anus-brain, you may have gagged me temporarily, but mark my unspoken words, anything happens to my boys, and you will know get to know me, know who I truly am, a loving father." He also added, "And if this means being jailed for loving and trying to protect my children, then go for it. I have as many friends on the inside as I do out here. My passion WILL NOT be silenced. You are all now standing in my way. I'd recommend a shift in your geography."

The judge has not yet commented. According to E! Online, Sheen's next court hearing regarding his family is set for December 4th.
