49. Sally Weaver

Best-known episode: "The Cartoon"
The role that catapulted Kathy Griffin to the D-list, where she has stayed ever since. Sally is a struggling actress, all wild red hair and non-stop babbling, as well as Susan Ross' former college roommate. But Sally takes it badly when Kramer passes on Jerry's secret opinion that Sally's a no-talent, someone who should give it up and stop wasting her time. Her response: a one-woman show called Jerry Seinfeld Is the Devil, which becomes a smash success. Newman has seen it six times. ROB SHEFFIELD
