You know how Tom Brady spent 2016 selling mattresses for Beautyrest? He's now moved on to state of the art pajamas.
In partnership with Under Armour, Brady has helped create the "world's most advanced sleep system that actually rebuilds your body while you rest." It sounds super complicated, but it's basically a string of fancy words to say they've created some of the most expensive pajamas – or sleepwear, as Brady prefers to call it – you'll ever find to help your body recover faster by supposedly promoting better sleep, reducing inflammation and regulating cell metabolism.
To help sell those pajamas, Brady posted on Facebook on Tuesday of him doing an impression of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson from his heyday to tell him a pair of Under Armor's fancy pajamas with his name on them are in the mail. Of course, Johnson is also an Under Armour spokesperson, so he probably won't have a hard time getting his hands on a pair, but it was a nice gesture either way.
"Hey, Rock, what kind of sleepwear are you sleeping in? IT DOESN’T MATTER WHAT KIND OF SLEEPWEAR YOU'RE SLEEPING IN. Because I wanted to give you a heads up that Under Armor and I are going to send you some of my new TB12 sleepwear. I'm really excited about it and they're key for me for helping my body recover and achieve peak performance, and I know it’ll do the same for you."
You've got to hand it to Brady. As bad as the impression may be, he sure knows how to get the word out.
