The Chicago Cubs' World Series' victory lap brought the team to Saturday Night Live to celebrate their historic win with famous fan and former SNL cast member Bill Murray

However, Murray and the Cubs' Anthony Rizzo, David Ross and Dexter Fowler stopped by "Weekend Update" to bask in the glory of another type of win – "Weekend Update's The Voice" contest – and not that curse-breaking, 108-year drought-ending triumph that happened earlier in the week.

The confusing premise is just a reason allowing Murray and the three ballplayers to lead the crowd in a rendition of the team's post-victory anthem "Go Cubs Go," with some slight lyrical adjustments to reflect that the team from the north side of Chicago had finally won a World Series.

The three Cubs even got involved in a sketch with host Benedict Cumberbatch: In the Weekend at Bernie's-esque "Surprise Bachelorette," Fowler, Ross and Rizzo played baseball-themed strippers at a raunchy bachelorette party for an 83-year-old woman.

"Don't worry grandma, Grandpa Rossy will take good care of you," said Ross, making fun of the 39-year-old retiring catcher's nickname in the clubhouse.

"It's your lucky night: We're about to play a triple-header," Rizzo said before the dance party kicked off.
