Much to Brock Lesnar's dismay, it doesn't sound like Ronda Rousey plans to stop making movies anytime soon.
In a wide-ranging AMA on Reddit last year, Rousey revealed that she's long been obsessed with video games. She grew up loving Pokémon as a kid, and she's since become attached to World of Warcraft, Taichi Panda and Mortal Kombat – or maybe just Kitana.
Anyway, Rousey is also working her way up the Hollywood ladder with projects like Road House and Do Nothing Bitches, and if she has it her way both of those worlds will eventually collide. In an interview with Gamespot last week, Rousey said she's long been fascinated with Metroid's Samus Aran, and she'd love to bring one of the first female stars in video game history to life on the big screen.
"I've always wanted to be Samus," Rousey said. "That would be badass. I love how people found out later that it was a hot chick on the inside. And then most of the day you're in a suit, so you can just hang out and eat donuts and be the star of 'Metroid.' I hope they make a movie out of that."
And hey, why not? Rousey blazed the trail for many women when she became the most dominant athlete in the world last year – before, you know, that happened – so there are plenty of parallels to work with. Perhaps she can even convince Jerry Bruckheimer to get involved, seeing as he's in her corner and all.
