Seeing as most of the video we post on this site features that dude who writes “The Smoking Section” following around the Kings of Leon, you can bet we were excited when we laid our hands on an actual quality short film on our recent cover shoot with The Police. It was shot by none other than Jordan Copeland, Stewart Copeland’s son, which might explain why the band was comfortable enough to dress up in wacky costumes for the camera.

Not only are you looking at a real, live (OK, digitized) version of the new Rolling Stone (on stands Friday,) but the behind-the-scenes footage from Fall Out Boy’s cover shoot is now available for your viewing pleasure. As we mentioned yesterday, it includes all kinds of excellent visual tidbits involving light-saber battles, vocal gymnastics and, as you can already see, plenty of shots of Pete’s manly-but-still-emo torso. Enjoy.


Tomorrow we will put up excerpts from Brian Hiatt’s article, in which the following topics are addressed: Pete’s manic personality, the true nature of his suspiciously intimate friendships with Ashlee Simpson and Michelle Trachtenberg and Patrick Stump’s thoughts on being the lead singer in a band fronted by somebody else.
