This is the second time I’ve seen her on SNL in the last year…her bass player is HILARIOUS. She sings light bubblegum pop, and her bass player bangs like he’s in Pantera. HAAAA!! Dude is up there whippin’ ass like he’s on the main stage at Ozzfest. So funny to see.

If Taylor Swift has talent, then so does every drama class/talent show hack that I’ve ever seen.

It was kind of funny nothing to brag about though. I give it a meehhh, if I saw it on tv I probably would have changed the channel. It wasn’t a complete fail it just wasn’t very good. SNL is to blame too the skits weren’t very good, the show isn’t what it used to be everyone knows that. I saw the skit from the first show she did and that wasn’t hilarious either. I don’t understand why they wanted her to host, just because someone is famous doesn’t make them funny or worthy of hosting SNL.

This girl really doesn’t sing all that well and if I knew she was going to bad mouth and make fun of other people like Kate from Jon & Kate plus 8, I wouldn’t have felt so bad about what happened to her at the award show. Taylor is a good actress for the most part,because she acted so innocent at the award show…I think she isn’t all that!

I thought Taylor (Swift) was hilarious! She made me laugh out loud! I loved the monolouge and firelight short. Her skits were okay, but not the best I’ve seen. I was a little warry about her singing during some parts of the monolouge when she sang “la la la…” really load. It sounded kind of flat and just not so good. But the rest was great!

This girl has Nooooooo talent. If I had to watch her or listen to her, I wouldn’t and I don’t.

Best SNL of the year, by a mile. Taylor was a revelation as a comedienne! Great version of “Untouchable”. Taylor’s monologue, “Firelight”, “TRAAPD”, the Taylor interview and the Bunny skit were some of the funniest SNL bits in ages.

I am (sadly for her because up to now I was one of her most loyal fans) officially sick of Ms. Swifty. sigh. Seems she has sold out. That rude prison sketch was vile; she should have worn a bra in the roommate sketch (and, does she have size 13 feet? gross!); and, I agree her skreetching in the lalala chorus was weird for a singer. If she gets her EOTY, that might be the highlight of her career. One fan gone. b’bye dubiatchde.

swift has got an awful singing voice. some of the snl girls have a better singing voice when they do parodies and stuff. but swift did really well in the skits (except for the convict one)

Her Shakira impression was spot-on, but other than that she was pretty poor in her sketches.

I liked the Taylor’s SNL so much I watched it a second time (from my DVR) before going to bed Saturday. I watched it again last night, too. All three times I laughed out loud and enjoyed it all thoroughly!! Well done Taylor!

It has to be said that the girl doesn’t have a great singing voice – but she’s still amazing, and her songs are incredibly catchy, and very sweet! And come on, she is FUNNY. I love her, flat notes and all… And I really can’t blame her for the snide Kanye comments or the Joe Jonas thing.

I’m a little sick of the Joe Jonas bashing. The guy dated her for a month and he still being skewered. I think she needs to grow up a bit and move on. And she mentioned something about how she is hosting SNL as a slam to Joe Jonas…but they already hosted the show earlier this year.

Other than that I thought the show was a little funny. SNL has just lost it’s power though. Definately not as funny as it used to be.

As far as musical talent. Taylor Swift sounds a lot better on her album than live. I think there are way better country/pop artists out there. She is a bit overrated…and way overplayed.

I felt bad for Taylor Swift during the Kanye thing. But overall, I think she is overrated as a performer. She writes catchy songs but now they are all starting to sound alike.

Watch out Taylor Lautner. Because if Taylor Swift holds true to form…she will be writing a song about how you broke her heart, and she’ll be skewering you in her next SNL hosting gig.

I was disappointed in Taylor actually. She claims to be this “role model” for youth and respresents herself as the victim all the time. But then goes on national television and bad mouths everyone.

It makes you wonder. I recorded it for my daughters but had to delete it because of language and the prison skit. I expect that of SNL but not her. You can be funny without trying to hurt people.

Ummm, the Jonas Brothers actually hosted the show earlier this year. So “they are doing well” too. And you may want to check the ratings again because it was also stated that they posted the “Highest Ratings”. They also served as both Musical Guests and performed in several skits.

A lot of haters out there – Lift the girl up, so you can pull her down and stomp on her? Is that how you get your thrills? It’s ironic, how this medium is called the information highway, but there seems to be few knowledgeable, thoughtful people on it.

i dont get why people say she cant sing. obviously the ‘la la la’ part was just a joke. her signing isnt flat at all, it was there to make it seem more funnier which i thought it did. whats going on people, you know she was very funny and is an absolutely talented girl. she has a nice sweet voice, sure the voice isnt a strong one like beyonce but its sweet and lovely and just as beautiful. And the bonus is that unlike most artists she writes her own songs. and another thing about her songs is that although they are defeinitely catchy, teh lyrics are soo meaning. Her songs tells a story and i think thats quite impressive considering that many singers out there have songs that you dont know what the heck they are on about even though they sound good e.g. selena Gomez, miley cyrus. Ask yourself when you listen to a miley cyrus song and know that miley cyrus has written it and has no connections with it on a personal level does it just makes you love taylor swift’s songs even more. plus who says taylor swift’s voice is flat, miley cyrus has a pretty strong voice, but its not nice on the ear drums now is it. its not soothing either, am i right? talyor swift is a beautiful girl, indeed very talented and seriously people gotta stop saying she cant sing. her voice is unqiue and sweet. the ‘la la la’ part was just to add humour. Further more, too all you haters out there, can u really write a wonderful song like taylor? do u have a record deal or even a platinum album? Have you sold millions of albums? have u kissed taylor lautner? have u gone on a date with one of teh jonas brothers? have you been praised by sexy and respectable singers like John Mayer or Justin Timberlake? have you been praised by Ellen Degeneres? have you ever been on the cover of Seventeen magazine on multiple ocassions? have you done any of this from scratch and have you achieved any of this or even one of it before you turned 20? i bet not. so look on the bright side of things and stop acting as if you know it all.

thought it was interesting that one of the things some posters bashed her for was thinking she had big feet, as if that would have any significance. What makes it even stupider is her shoe size is actually 8.5 narrow, so she has rather small feet for her height and that is part of her awkwardness when moving. I find it all very charming and thought she was very good on this episode, as well as having a beautifully honest voice.
