Woman of The Year for what? What has she done? Getting beat up by her boyfriend, then go into hiding then re-emerge in public by wearing skimpy outfits, hitting the clubs and fashion shows? Her album isn’t even out yet, it may flop for all we know, so what exactly has she accomplished in 2009 to deserve the honor of “Woman of The Year”? Didn’t do any charity work, didn’t give back to the community, didn’t accomplish anything career-wise. In that case Lindsay Lohan should’ve won. It is too obvious that her record label arranged this with the magazine so she can sell records. She didn’t want to talk about the incident before, now she’s giving interviews about it left and right just as her album is about to drop. And than you SS, for pointing out what a hypocrite Rihanna is for comparing her ordeal to Britney Spears, when just a couple years ago she was laughing at her. Now the shoe is on the other foot, and she knows what it’s like to be unfairly judged by the world. I hope someone laughs at her when she’s performing at American Music Awards later this month. She has even less talent than Britney, on top of not being able to sing she can’t even dance. I don’t know how got a record contract, apart from her looks.
