I, for one, will not be getting the shot. I have never gotten a flu shot in my life and I don’t plan to get one now. I’ve also never had the flu *knock on wood*

My Dad gets a flu shot every year, and every year right after getting the shot, he’s gotten the flu.

Isn’t it like when Kanye West said he believed AIDS was created by the government or something like that? Oh well, at least Billy understands that if he catches the swine flu and dies, it’ll be his own doing, and he readily accepts that. Everyone should have the freedom to do what they please with their bodies, even if it’s putting their lives at risk. He’s a grown man, it should be his decision to get vaccinated whether it’s a smart one or not. And I also agree vaccinations shouldn’t be forced on people, except for children.

the point of vaccine is to give you a small dosage of the flu, so u build up an immunity to it… thats why people get sick for a little while after getting the vaccine.

It reminds me of Frank Zappa claiming that the AIDS virus was created by man to target certain people groups i.e. gays. The virus did not emerge from monkeys in Africa as was claimed at the time. It’s credible what Billy has to say, it’s a shame most of us just get dragged along by the dumbing down effect that the media forces upon us only feeding us with info they want us to believe.

Didn’t hear about any deaths or adverse reactions. Many people have already been vaccinated. Have there been a mass outbreak of vaccine-related deaths and debilitating side effects? No. Now how many swine flu-related deaths have there been worldwide? 6,021. This whole ” all vaccines are evil” mentality are exactly why a lot of people who have access to a good doctor end up dying from preventable diseases, because they get it in their heads that someone sticking a needle in you and injecting with some sort of medicine= government trying to kill you. Stop being so Orwellian about things and get some common sense. You guys are claiming that people who get vaccinated are just swallowing what the media spoon-feeds them, yet you get your “reliable” info via websites that are run by crackpots like you.

As a physician, I have seen too many vaccine reactions (vaccinosis), including death, over the past 27 yrs. I do not advocate vaccines for my patients nor do I vaccinate my own children. They are perfectly fine and robust young teens. I am in good stead w/other doctors re: the over-vaccination of our populace. Contrary to what corporate media would have you believe, immune-compromised individuals, along w/babies and young children, should definitely NOT get this vaccine or any others for that matter. Formaldehyde, aluminum, thimerosol (49.6% ethyl mercury), ethylene glycol (anti-freeze), msg, carbolic acid, polysorbate 80 (sterilization agent), phenols, squalene, dead animal pus, foreign viruses, etc. do NOT belong in anyone’s body, let alone developing immune systems which are compromised by this neuro-toxic and carcinogenic overload of chemicals within vaccine serum. Over $91 million was paid out for vaccine damage in 2007 and close to $2 billion since ‘86 when Congress enacted legislation to indemnify drug cos. from the numerous lawsuits which were being filed on behalf of families whose children had been permanently damaged or had died. It’s estimated that over 1 million individuals in the U.S. are damaged (including death) by vaccines each year in that less than 5% of vaccine reactions are reported. It is not in a doctor’s be$t intere$t to submit reports that could potentially jeopardize his or her reputation and practice.
