  • One Jersey legend closed down Giants Stadium, and another hometown hero will open the new one: Bon Jovi are hosting a special announcement at the site of the new Meadowlands Stadium today at noon at which they’re expected to confirm they’ll christen the venue when it opens, the AP reports.

  • A vehicle that was part of a caravan transporting Michael Jackson’s children and their nanny to karate class was involved in a car accident yesterday when a paparazzo rear-ended the car in L.A., TMZ reports.
  • Should Kiss make it into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this year, Ace Frehley says he’s open to joining the band onstage. Blabbermouth quotes a new interview from the Artisan News Service where Frehley says, “I really had to let all the negative energy go years ago — for my own sanity and personal health.”
  • Trent Reznor has contributed a reworked version of Nine Inch Nails’ “Zero-Sum” for a promo for the TV show Fringe (for free!), EW reports. The spot airs tonight during the ALC championship game.

Aside from the drummer, the other three guys from Bon Jovi look like the women from “Sex in the City” in this photo.

Sorry ol’ Wally roy. You couldn’t be more wrong.
And what’s with the dude on the left. His hair looks like the chic’s hair in Fatal Attraction.
Call me a fool.
But I like their early butt-rock days.

Going to see KISS tonight. I’m sure we will miss ACE very much. I hope that when (not if, when) they get in to RRHOF this year that ACE gets a chance to perform. We all saw how much cooler Metallica handled this than Van Halen (or Blondie)…
