Chris Brown listed fresh live dates in a post on his official Website on October 16th, and today his label confirmed the singer’s Fan Appreciation Tour — a 19-date trek that takes the “Forever” singer to intimate venues and clubs “conceptualized for and with ‘fans only’ in mind,” according to a press release. The tour will kick off November 14th in Houston and wrap a month later on December 15th with a show at New York’s Nokia Theater.

Proceeds from the tour will benefit a handful of charities, including Best Buddies International, an organization that works with children with intellectual disabilities, and Los Angeles’ Jenesse Center, a domestic violence intervention organization. Brown will also visit the Best Buddies International programs while on the road.

Brown was sentenced to probation, counseling and community labor for assaulting Rihanna earlier this year, and a judge must grant him permission to travel outside of Virginia. Perhaps not coincidentally, Brown’s announcement comes the same day Rihanna made headlines for releasing her first musical statement since the assault, the new single “Russian Roulette,” on her Website this morning.

As Rolling Stone previously reported, Brown will make his official advertised return to the stage for the first time since the February 8th incident next Tuesday, October 27th at the Powerhouse concert at New Jersey’s Giants Stadium.

The Atlanta show is surely an indicator of what Chris Brown has done to his career.

The Atlanta show is at Center Stage, a venue that only holds 1,100 people, and went onsale last week. Tickets only $35 (Very cheap by todays standards), and he couldn’t even sell it out.

Chris Brown is done. Kaput. Finito!

Bye-bye, CB!

HA! As if some people would actually go to see him. He physically abused a woman and does NOT deserve to continue to be a role model or be in the public eye. Just shew chris brown

I would like to believe that Chris Brown is redeemable — but that will only happen if gets his priorities straight. He needs to put the “career” aside and concentrate on his counseling and self-improvement. Now is not the time to tour. The fact that he is doing so makes me think that all his apologies were bogus — and that’s very sad.

OhHell | 10/21/2009, 5:17 pm EST

Why in the hell does rolling stone continue to talk about that old issue NO ONE GIVE A DAMN ABOUT ANYMORE? Stop trying to bring up bull that no one cares about.

I am happy to see Chris getting on with life, he is young & life will go on. It does for every other entertainer & person so it should for this kid! I find it interesting that rolling stone never took the same interest in constantly bring up ROMAINE POLANSKI’S child-sexual assault while running advertisements & giving positive press to his movies!

I have never attended a Chris Brown concert but will be going to this one when he comes to my town!

Chris Brown fans:

Instead of spending money on Chris Brown tickets, instead invest your money on an English textbook.

Because from reading some of your posts, you sound borderline retarded.

Symone | 11/20/2009, 10:14 pm EST

*The Biggest Hypocrites are The Loudest Critics*,I just wanted to remind Chris Brown fans of that.

These judgemental people are just mad that not everyone hates Chris as much as they do and when I say they are mad ,they indeed are.

The media is trying to shape perception with deception. There are people ignorant enough to tag Chris as Ike Turner Jr. or a woman abuser and the kid is only 19!

Chris is a kid who at 19 had a fight with his ex-girlfriend who admitted to slapping him,a fact that is overlooked by the ever expoiting media.

Rihanna is the same person that admitted to hitting her OWN brother with a glass bottle, yet she is propped up as an “innocent victim,PLEASE!

I’m sending “good energy” to Chris.

Chrisbreezyobsession | 11/23/2009, 9:47 pm EST

I am so into chris brownz music its not even funny! And At the end of the day we’re supporting his music and not his actions and thats all tht really matters. and i do believe people deserve a second chance. Just because someone does somethign bad doesnt mean they are a bad person as long as they learn from it and dont do it again. I am really exited to go to the DC concert and ima b cheering him on !
