Actually MJ has sold 5 million albums since Jan 25. Number Ones represent 1.9 million, the rest are his other albums. He deserves the nominations, and I am looking forward to the shows. I do think Eminem is extremely talented, too bad his lyrics are so raunchy – I can’t enjoy listening to them.

I feel sorry for Whitney Houston. As a diehard fan, even though her singles have gone nowhere, her I Look To You album is one of the top selling female albums of 2009 and should have garnered at least one nomination, especially given Rolling Stone’s generally favorable review. That means all she can do is hope to be merely invited to sit in the audience and watch. Watch out, her tour next year has the potential to be HUGE, proving that live performance matters over selling records in today’s music industry!

But I gotta say, I gotta get this off my chest… wtf happened to Eminem after filming 8 mile and recorded the songtrack. He was so focused at that point. He was easily, almost undisuptedly at tat point the greatest star in the world. He was clean, a star of the screen and musically genius (The Eminem Show was a Classic IDC what any1 says)… then the fucking drugs came… wtf! after 8mile. Proof was still 3 years away from getting shot dead. Em couldnt sleep and got hooked on thos prescription pills. Where was Em’s guidance? Where was his manager? His daughter? How could he slide away like that!

In 2003 Em was undisputedly the greatest star in the world. A star of the screen and a genius for The Eminem Show. What happened to him after that great focused period of filming…

He didnt have the guidance.. he was a god at that point 2003.. a musical rolling stone.. then five wasted years coz of drugs and he couldnt grow with the ppl around him
