This game has “flop” written all over it. It’s a shame that a fun, simple concept like Guitar Hero has been pimped out to this extent.

Dude | 10/8/2009, 3:10 am EST

activision would make hella bank if they released a soundtrack to the game…

these games are starting 2 suk | 10/8/2009, 8:28 pm EST

ya know…guitar 5 was a piece of junk. i was so excited when sting popped out in the game with coldplay as the encore…look…its called guitar hero…not pussy hero or popular hero. clapton, page, hendrix, satriani, vai, dimebag, scott ian, kirk hammett….hello?

and the van halen is gonna suck more…more hagar, no anthony, no way

these games are starting 2 suk | 10/8/2009, 8:29 pm EST

oh, nearly forgot…id rather shit on my guitar and play it then by this piece of crap…what a disgrace to jay z, mos def, beastie boys, and tears for fears. its crap

Moose | 10/9/2009, 5:00 pm EST

I wasn’t going to buy it, then I played it at Best Buy. I bought the Renegade Edition after 10 minutes of play. If you think guitar hero is easy, try this out – it’s a totally different animal, and anyone who plays it that likes guitar hero is going to like the gameplay (music tastes are subjective, though).

Rabby B | 10/10/2009, 10:55 pm EST

This game is going to be amazing, any fans of activisions guitar hero series will find a whole new challenge with dj hero. For those of you that think its gunna flop, give it a try, i felt the same way, but was very impressed by the demo

Chambersstevens | 10/11/2009, 12:02 am EST

I can’t wait.
Not a giant rap fan.
But this looks fun.

MetallicaManiac | 10/18/2009, 7:54 pm EST

Dude, I can’t believe that they put Motorhead on the game… That just ruined their reputation of only being rock, and metal, instead of hip hop, and rap… This game is gonna blow! The controller sucks for it too

IXI VeNoM IXl | 10/24/2009, 11:44 pm EST

I have to admit, I thought the game was going to be retarded, but I decided to give it a try. I am a GameStop employee, and we got a DJ Hero Demo we are allowed to take home and try. One play through with the demo tracklist and I am amazed. I LOVE the game.

AFan | 10/26/2009, 1:17 pm EST

I liked the guitar hero series, though I’ll admit I never put much time into playing any of the titles. I’m also not a big fan of house, dance, techno and trance music. But… I gave this game a go. I must say, I had fun. The music was good. Not a bunch of stuff only a raver has heard. I’m not sure what people are expecting with the turntable. It’s a game. It wasn’t meant to be the real thing. At the very least; for everyone who is knocking the game; maybe you should give it an honest go before commenting.

T$HOCK | 10/26/2009, 7:42 pm EST

more lil wayne – less eminem and rock.

jbaby | 10/27/2009, 5:20 am EST

lol those who knock it should um take they ass to play the demo…yeah motorhead has a rep for rock n stuff but there are other folks out there and this is wat we been waitin for. so try it u will find it fun. plus there are like 6 different guitar heroes i mean damn bout time there was a change suck it up those who think its goin to suck just open u little minds to something new for a change…rock does no make the world go round….sorry!!!

Zero | 10/27/2009, 1:26 pm EST

Way better than guitar hero ever was. And this isn’t rap, it’s electro, the best genre of music there is. My girl and all her girls find this way more fun than some noisy guitar too.

me | 10/28/2009, 11:30 pm EST

needs more eminem and real rap. too much rock and pop. activision wanted to introuduce a new style of music to the gituar hero series but they couldnt put any good rap songs in it. i would have come out with an M rated game as an exuse for lyrics and put at least 3 or 4 lil wayne and eminem songs. and those of u who say too much eminem, notice that “my name is” is the only em song in the game.

Crispy | 10/29/2009, 5:58 pm EST

im a Dj. So i had to buy this game and check it out. And i love it. You have to really know what rocks a crowd to understand these tracks and how there put together. These mash-ups and remixes are definitely blazing. very hot game. Altthough the graphics are very shitty. I spins tracks like this all the time and the crowds go crazy. The controller is dead on too. Its has a real vinyl feel.

guy from planet stfu | 10/30/2009, 7:30 pm EST

why do people read articles and comment on things just to talk smack? if you dont like it then why are your google’ing the game. watch some youtube videos and see if you have the same outlook on Dj Hero …. douche bags

sebastian | 10/31/2009, 7:35 pm EST

screw electro.. electro has become so mainstream that its just a horrible mix with hip hop which sounds horrendous. minimal and tech house is the shit right now fuck electro

ThAdEa | 10/31/2009, 10:40 pm EST

Jackson 5? on a DJ game?! Is this “DJ at dive bar” game? Where the hell is the Trance? THE TRANCE DAMN YOU!!!

Dale | 11/2/2009, 12:14 am EST

i heard from so many people that this game is a compleate waist of mone….went to my buddies house to try it and everyone is right dont waist your money on this

JoeyJoeJoeJuniorShabadoo | 11/3/2009, 3:53 pm EST

Where’s the Drum and Bass, the Trance, the mudda fugging techno?

Christ, this is what decks where invented for. Not Hip Hop and Michael fuggin Jackson.

Pendulum? The Prodigy? Orbital?

What a dissapointing line up!

Fan1414 | 11/4/2009, 4:42 pm EST

Wow!!! All these comments about trance and techno. Did you forget hip hop put turntables on the map. It wouldn’t be what it is today with out hip hop/rap. Stop hating and enjoy the “game” for what it is. More songs will come available as they always do. I prefer rap/hip hop but I will jam rock and techno. Step out of your f-in box and GROW UP!!

m-youKNOW-dawg | 11/6/2009, 3:02 pm EST

this game looks good and challenging! and the reason they put this kind of music on here instead of regular rturn table stuff is because more people listen to this then that and it will sell better so all you haters need to CHILL!!!

happily confused | 11/7/2009, 8:10 am EST

tried the demo like it as for choice of artist whats next rap battles with the dixie chicks
