RS, thanks for giving us such a great impression of U2´s life during their tour. Watching the band coming out of their Chicago hotel reminds me of my own experience outside the Berlin hotel one day after the concert. Before Bono came out there was this stunning mixture of joy and exitement (but I wasn´t screeching, by the way). While waiting, I was thinking, God, I´m waayyy too nervous to talk to him(and I´ve always wanted to say or ask something). But when Bono came to me everything was easy and he wrote his beautiful autograph on my Horizon book.

The interview is also great. I really enjoy watching interviews with U2, because they are always friendly, intelligent, polite and relaxed. One part is very funny, because Bono seems to imitate somebody else (I don´t know who) and his language sounds like Italian(???)English. The man is a phenomenon, because he writes the most serious songs, but as a person he´s often so funny! There are some different Bonos indeed!

Actually this band is the largest in the world. It’s funny how they can act naturally, with humility before the fans, nice to journalists, and incredible, is that this is no “marketing” tax. It really is their way, as a band and as people.
