I was reading the comments on the site that i was on and, a lot of his fans said that they bought multiple copies of the cd, & they will also buy it off of itunes when it comes out, WOW. So that’s how he got to #1. It seems like the fans felt as if they had something too prove, maybe cause he lost American idle?

My question has nothing to do with his music. It is this: what is all the hype with his looks? I look at the picture above and I see an ordinary man wearing too much makeup. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not calling him ugly, cause he’s not by any means. But he’s not the best looking rock star ever, either. In fact, I’m surprised he’s only 27. He looks a lot older.

Vada, Adam’s CD hit number 2 BEFORE the price was lowered. Before that it was the same as Kris’. SS, tis the season for gift shopping so yes many bought more than 1 but there is a limit of 3 on Amazon for the top 10 sellers so I don’t believe any one purchase made the difference.

Well, I got one copy already, my husband bought 2 the angel(1 for him, 1 for me). So it’s not just crazy fans, guys like my hubby got respect for him already.

Maybe Amazon has a limit of 3 now, but on Sunday when I pre-ordered, I ordered 4. I will also buy from iTunes. I love Adam Lambert. He has made me love music again. I will buy whatever he is selling. Alright RS, make sure you put our boy on the cover for Time for Miracles and for his album debut. You will make buttloads of money!!!

There’s indeed a lot of anticipation for Adam’s first album. One thing we know for sure is this guy can sing. There are a lot of male singers out there but there are only a handful who really have a distinctive voice with a fabulous vocal range that make us transcend to another world…And Adam has that sheer artistic talent combined with charisma and individuality. That’s a winning combo!

This dude is going on 28, he wears a butt load of make-up cause of his bad acne, & isn’t he a redhead? He’s also on the chubby side too. So why do people think that he is so sexy?

BTW, I AM NOT A FAN OF KA either!!! & noway I’m close to even being jealousy of Adam!

dem- an amazing fact about Adam is if you don’t like his looks, just wait a day. He has so many it’s sometimes hard for me to hold his image in my head! That is not the best picture of him-he and Kris had done a concert, and then had to be driven to NY for the GMA program the next morning, and as Adam put it, “I’m f’ing exhausted.” I’m pulling for both guys to have wonderful debut albums. They are decent young men who have worked hard to get to where they are, and regardless of who finished where and why, at this point it’s all about the future for these two. I wish everybody could let go of the petty bickering and just rejoice in the music.

Oh and Vada — people don’t buy their music based on price. Kanye West could have his latest album priced at a penny and I wouldn’t buy it. So it’s not like a consumer sits there and says, “Gee, who shall I buy? Kris or Adam? Well, I love Kris and don’t like Adam, but Adam’s album is cheaper, so I’ll buy his INSTEAD of Kris.” I mean, seriously? Do you spend all of your leisure time grasping at straws?

What’s interestin is they claim it’s the Adam fans who are bitter but I keep asking what would they be bitter about? The best selling RS cover of the year? top producers working with Adam? #1 on Amazon? endless media attention? seems the adam fans have a lot to celebrate and nothing to be bitter about. Adam didn’t need to win American Idol. He’s moving beyond that world be title onto bigger and better things.

There is more than Adam’s hard core fans at work here. Adam is preparing a CD that is known for airplay. It will be current and fresh. He aims to please, and make us happy. I am from the Philippines, so eventhough I am very excited to get a copy of his album, i would not order from Amazon and will just wait for the album to be released locally.

Susan Boyle also was # 1 on Amazon when her album went up for preorders on Amazon, as was Clay Aiken and also David Cook. It is one of the few places you can purchase the album at this time.This is nothing that has not happened before. It is interesting that RS chose to do a piece on it.

Adam is in a league of his own – only once in every few decades does an entertainer like this come along. Kris is a decent man and a nice singer, but could never keep up with Adam and I am sure Kris has known this from day one. However, I do wish Kris the best. Wendy.

To “a music fan.” Yes, others have been number one on Amazon soon after their pre-orders were available. Kudos to all of them! What was newsworthy was that Adam’s pre-order was not announced at all, it was hard to find and hoards of fans found it anyway and made him number 1 overnight. That is different from what happened with Susan Boyle and the others. Anyway, it is great that so many are successful. I think Adam is one of a kind and will be a mega star, but if he isn’t I will still be a huge fan and buy whatever he releases.

Depp, Pitt, etc.) and/or are ignorant of what a visual chameleon he is. Adam Lambert should be a matinee idol! I saw him up close when he was here in Michigan for HIS CONCERT, and he was gorgeous. In real life he has got to be one of the most beautiful men I have ever seen. I think he should be on the next issue of PEOPLE magazine as sexiest man alive. The only thing better than his looks is his talent. I will be buying more than one cd. One for me, and at least two more for my sisters. All of the women in my family want to have Adam under the Christmas tree.

Joel, they have to be that way (prearranged, karaoke or whatever) on American Idol… It’s not like they are aloud to perform their own music on the show. Half the time it seems like their first choice song hasn’t been approved.

It’s after were we see what these people can really do. With Adam, though, there has been tons of pre-AI videos showing him doing all sorts of different songs. The man has great talent.

I would just like to say that I am buying a copy for myself – and another for my sister..and one for my brother…they both love Adam..my mom is also buying a copy..I’m not doing it to “prove” anything – I might get another one for my car..I am really rough on cds and I have done it before. I also bought all adam’s stuff on itunes because he is good. I don’t get why some people have such a problem with that – I have more of a problem with miley’s “climb” and britney – they can’t sing..a lot of people on the radio who squeak by because they fit the “pop” mold – This guy actually has talent and I don’t care if I’m the only one buying his cds..I want to hear him sing – I love Elton – the Beatles ..MJ (RIP) – I listen to them over and over and over – I hope he makes some good music because his voice is definitely worth a listen.

My little brother killed himself in July. He loved Adam. He had to drop out of school last year because his “best” friend told everyone he was gay. He was getting beat up every other week until he became so depressed he quit going. He didn’t want to go camping with us over the fourth and when we came home we found him in the garage. He hung himself. I hope Adam does well no matter what people think of him. I don’t get why people have to hate so much. Hate took my best friend friend and killed him.
