But six decades ago today in Long Branch, New Jersey, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer was born, and to help celebrate the contributions of a true titan of rock, Rolling Stone is looking back at his remarkable life and career. Bruce has more energy on stage than musicians half his age! Happy Birthday Boss!

Just curious… Would Rolling Stone be wishing Bruce a happy birthday if he was a Conservative?

CJ- there are certain people RS would have a callout like this for. Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Bono, Bruce Springsteen. Yes, he is very liberal. Yes, RS is INCREDIBLY liberal. But if you’re questioning whether Bruce is legendary enough to warrant a birthday shout-out, then you must not have been paying attention to the music world for the past 35 years.

Will Ted Nugent get a birthday headline from RS? Probably not, because who gives a sh*t?

If Bruce were a Conservative(i.e. anti-American imbecile) he wouldn’t be a titan of rock causse Conservatives can’t make rock music or any kind of music for shit.
