Weezer Reveal “Raditude” Track List, Bonus Songs

9/18/09, 12:55 pm EST

Weezer announced the track listing for their dictionary-defying new album Raditude on their official Website yesterday. As you’d expect from a band that put a crazed airborne dog on its album cover, the track list for the October 27th LP features its share of audacious song titles.

First single “(If You’re Wondering If I Want You To) I Want You To” opens up the album, and it’s followed by a trio of song titles that’ll make you think LMFAO or 3OH!3 served as ghostwriters: “I’m Your Daddy,” “The Girl Got Hot” and “Can’t Start Partying.” We’re officially in a territory very far removed from “Tired Of Sex.” Also, tracks eight and nine seem to form some kind of unofficial medley, as “Let It All Hang Out” slides to “In the Mall.” Keeping with an ongoing motif in Weezer history, there are only 10 songs on the standard release.

As with last year’s Weezer the 3rd, (or The Red Album), the album will be available both in a standard and a deluxe edition. The deluxe edition will tack on four extra tracks, which, as those of you who purchased the deluxe Red can attest, may represent some of the best songs on the album. Plus, when purchased on iTunes, Raditude will be accompanied by another bonus song called “The Story of My Life.” Pre-ordering on the digital music service will secure you Weezer’s mash-up of MGMT’s “Kids” and Lady Gaga’s “Poker Face.”

The only answer is no.

WEEZ ALL WEEZIN | 9/18/2009, 3:18 pm EST

“Cant STOP partying” was among the best songs issued on Rivers’ demo collections Alone and Alone II. I see a few other familar songs listed too. Cant wait for more new WEEZ!

Weezer hasn’t been their former selves since the Green Album.

I have heard some of these songs from Rivers Alone 2 demos so there are definitely already some good songs. HATERS

I’m hardly a hater. They used to be…so good. Too much too soon?

I’m pretty psyched but Weezer didn’t satisfy very well with 3/4 of the songs on the red album, i think it’s to soon to sell a new album..

OMG guys. I’ve just heard the record and I gotta be honest, they have stoped the rot. This is up there with the first two albums and people will not be dissappointed.

Its great, but its not the blue album. But then I’m not the same person I was when that came out. Things change, get over it.

Weezer is an inspirational, poppy, and somewhat adapting experimental group that has captured the hearts of hundreds of thousands, maybe millions of people. So to all that say they have changed, that they arent good anymore, well, fuck you

I am so happy with the new album, but i would be sure to buy the deluxe verison. “Get Me Some” is great. I have always wanted to here Rivers shred a little bit.

I honestly think this album is a joke…. like not saying it is horrible, which it is, but it is honestly a satire of how horrible pop music is today. i mean they sold a snuggy with the album… i think rivers is the next andy kaufman
