He took gossip and found a way to make tons of money on it, apparently something that neither of you have done. Also, the “Invite Only” had to be that way because the tickets were selling out too fast, so do your research before you put your sheepy hoof in your sheepy mouth.

Not sure why people have to be so hateful. Like him or not, many of his music choices end up being big hits, be it indie or major labels. Loser? I think not. Keep up the good work, Perez. If Perez is such a loser, why does his website get millions of hits a day? Why does he make 6 figures off blogging? If hes such a loser, why does everyone know his name? Do you think you are better than Perez? If you are, how many hits is YOUR blog getting? Could you put together a multi city tour? Probably not. You may not like him and you may not like a lot of the music he posts (mostly upbeat, dance tunes) but he does have a pretty good ear when it comes to music.

Probably my favorite artist that I discovered because of Perez is Florence and The Machine. I cannot stop listening to her. If it had not been for Perez, I would have never heard of her.

Don’t always agree with Perez on his blog… but can’t help but appreciate his taste in music. Introduced me to Bat for Lashes, Gossip, La Roux, etc. Just wish his tour came to Vancouver.

I know who Perez Hilton is. I don’t follow what he does. However, I am a big fan of Ida Maria. So, I’m hoping this tour will help her reach more fans. “Fortress ‘Round My Heart” is one of my favorite album this year.

There are no words to describe how AWFUL Perez is. He is a failure as a human being. He is trash and anyone that associates themselves with him is just setting themselves up for trouble. And why would I be jealous of him? What’s to be jealous of? Because he’s had great success at turning celebrity-trashing into an art? How is that innovative or brilliant? How is that contributing to society or making the world a better place? If anything, he has contributed to the DUMBING DOWN of our society. He has made it cool to mercilessly tear down others who are more successful. Is that a good thing? And everyone speaks of him as though he’s introduced the world to new things they would’ve otherwise never known. I discovered Florence + The Machine by reading a blog alright, but NOT Perez’s blog. I discovered her through an actual music blog. As a matter of fact I discovered a ton of acts that Perez’s sheep fans love to credit Perez with knowing, but that I and a load of other people found through other means: TV, radio, magazines, friends, music blogs, online forums, fortunate accidents. Fact is, if you have a computer with internet access, then you can discover a plethora of unknown bands and artists on various websites, and Perez Hilton shouldn’t have to be one of them. It’s people who have shit for brains that want to put Perez on an undeserved pedestal, practically crediting him with inventing the wheel or discovering fire. Hell, even as a gossiper he’s not doing anything new. Louella Parsons and Heda Hopper have been dishing dirt on celebs and kissing their asses simultaneously, long before Perez’s grandparents were even born. And they did it with more class. The only thing he’s doing differently is with the help of technology, he can also behave like a 12-year-old and draw bodily fluids on the pictures of those he hates. His life basically consists of spewing hate with his keyboard and hobnobbing with fellow parasites like his namesake Paris Hilton. Oh yeah, who WOULDN’T want to be like him? Yeah I’m green with envy.
