Bob Dylan has already let fans in on their early holiday gift — Christmas In the Heart, due October 13th, and now concert-streaming site Wolfgang’s Vault has their own treat for the Dylan faithful: An unearthed concert from Bob Dylan & The Band’s legendary 1974 tour, a jaunt that resulted in the live album Before the Flood. Recorded on Valentine’s Day 1974, Wolfgang’s performance of Dylan & The Band’s two-hour “early show” from Los Angeles’ Forum finds the Planet Waves pairing in the throes of a 40-concerts-in-43-days spree and Dylan himself returning to the stage for his first tour in over seven years.

Additionally, the February 14th, 1974 concert marks the first time Wolfgang’s Vault has posted a concert where Dylan gets top billing (Dylan does feature prominently on some songs on Neil Young’s 1975 S.N.A.C.K. benefit concert in San Francisco, also posted on Wolfgang’s). To this day, the Dylan & The Band tour remains one of the most desired concert tickets of all-time, with roughly 5 million people applying for the 650,000 tickets to the tour, according to Wolfgang’s Vault.
