Creed’s Stapp Talks Breakup, Make-Up and Shaved Head

8/7/09, 10:06 am EST

In his dressing room before Creed’s first gig of a two-month tour, frontman Scott Stapp was so calm, you’d think the hotly anticipated trek was a victory lap. But he knows they have a lot of work to do if they’re going to compete for their share of rock fans from the Nickelback-Daughtry nation that’s sprung up in their absence. “Right now, we have feel like we have a second chance to make a first impression as artists,” said Stapp, who’s weathered addiction and assorted trials since the band split. “And reintroduce ourselves in 2009 and beyond. Our record’s going to speak for itself.”

Read Rolling Stone’s report from Creed’s Full Circle tour launch here.

Surrounded by candles, Stapp strummed an acoustic guitar, with an annotated Bible open on the table in front of him, next to a closed copy of The Art of War. He put down the guitar, and played the rocking title track from the band’s upcoming album, Full Circle, on his laptop as he spoke with Rolling Stone, focused and relaxed.

How do you feel? Any stage fright?
Good. Excited. I have… a butterfly’s calmness. If we didn’t have any nerves, we wouldn’t be human. But I feel comfortable in this situation. I feel comfortable with these guys, in this band. It’s almost like a calmness before the storm.

The reunion came together pretty fast.
We talked in December, about some things that needed to be said. The words that were said were, “If I hurt you in any way, please forgive me.” And then hugs and talk about families. It was a real organic process. I don’t think we could make new music and bare our souls and reclaim the chemistry, that thing we had, if it wasn’t real. Just realizing that short period of late 2002, early 2003, was just an aberration.

What’s the new album like?
The album’s finished. We worked with Howard Benson [Daughtry, My Chemical Romance], and Chris Lord-Alge [Green Day, the Replacements] is going to mix the record. It’s very unique. Very fresh. It’s got some of the heaviest rock tracks we’ve ever done, and some slower songs, and some slower songs — straight-up-rock kind of songs that you can’t really call a ballad.

What’s some of the lyrical content?
It’s varied. It’s about my experiences. It’s about life, love, growing up, loss.

Do any songs address the band’s hiatus?
Oh, yes. There’s a few. “Full Circle” definitely does. It’s kind of an autobiographical song.

How are you different than you were before the band reunited?
I don’t even know that guy. That was a personal aberration. I made some poor decisions, not taking care of my body and mind. And I think, 11-18-06, I kind of reclaimed myself, and that aberration died. My wife and children and family have been such a key part, a foundation of support and love.

Is there any symbolism to your shaved head?
It was a very impulsive thing I did in early ‘07. After this aberration had gone away, the people I loved and cared about, they responded to me with a defensive posture. They didn’t know where I was coming from. The outward appearance was a reminder of that. I had this epiphany talking to my wife. I said, “Excuse me, baby.” I went into the bathroom and started shaving my head. A lot of baggage went with that…. In Cherokee culture, when you mourn, or you go into battle, you shave your head. And in that moment, I realized I’d hurt people I love so much. I was mourning that. I said I want a fresh start.

With Creed underway, is your second solo album on hold indefinitely?
That’s the last thing on my mind. My motto now is “To protect and preserve.” And as long as [Creed] continue to treat each other with respect and appreciation, I’m sure I’ll dabble in other projects. But at the end of the day, we’ll gather together and break bread. I’m excited about the future. Life sure is better on this side.

Stapp just can’t *not* sound pretentious, can he?

DGG | 8/7/2009, 11:32 am EST

I’m waiting for the first band reunion where they don’ throw around the word “organic”. Like, “It was all very business-like, we had some lawyers and management around, we signed off on the tour merchandise, and then everybody went home”.

Will Smif | 8/7/2009, 12:24 pm EST

DGG, you can blame Fleetwood Mac and the Eagles for that “organic” reunion nonsense.

Anonymous | 8/7/2009, 12:32 pm EST

CREED!

Hater Joe | 8/7/2009, 1:38 pm EST

SUCK!

Funny | 8/7/2009, 2:04 pm EST

Funny how his Band mates say that Alter Bridge is their main priority but Stapp says Creed is his..hmmm. Someone had better clue him in.

funny | 8/7/2009, 2:06 pm EST

Funny how his band mates say Alter Bridge is their main priority but he says Creed is his..hmmm. Looks like he hasn’t gotten the message yet.. I will be shocked if his voice makes it the whole tour.

Ray Earnest | 8/7/2009, 4:11 pm EST

Being a rock/folk/singer for over forty years, CREED was the only rock band that had ever exited me when they first arrived on the music seen! It had been a long time since I had gotten excited over a rock band of that caliber. Their music got me through my divorce and when I saw on Gibson.com that they got back together I was estatic. I had purchased third row seats at Shoreline ampetheatre in Mountainview,CA.Oct.2002 and it was the best concert I had ever seen! And I have seen alot of concerts. Even though I paid alot for me and my daughter to see them, It was worth every penny! So glad they’re back! Looking forward to their new album in Oct.
Too bad that alot of the comments I’m reading are negative because these guys ROCK!Play back their old albums, listen to their lyrics and guitar and drum work, and tell me they’re not great!

Jerry Ace | 8/7/2009, 5:49 pm EST

Ray Earnest you are so stupid and wrong because Creed suck. If you want a good band check out Metro Station. They ROCK IT UP

Marc | 8/7/2009, 6:02 pm EST

Funny how so many people want to be so negative towards Stapp and Creed. I wonder how many of their albums went platinum? Stop hating!!!

stupid Creed | 8/7/2009, 8:14 pm EST

Ewwww! They should change their name to “Suck”!

Hey Stupid Marc, platnum means nothing but a bunch of dumbasses bought Creed’s sucky music,,,,,,stupid is as stupid does!

Megan | 8/7/2009, 8:22 pm EST

Ever heard the saying
let he with no sin cast the first stone…
all the haters need to get a life
how can you take the time to hunt down stapp interviews only to post hateful stuff. You have time to do that?
Scott is a human being, not perfect just a person. Let him move on from things done when he was younger. Its 2009 that was a long ass time ago.
And most of all STOP putting your feelings and words in Mark,Brian and Scott P. ’s mouth. From the interviews I have seen and from there own words posted on twitter this has been a cool time for them calling it like a dream to be on stage last night. So back the hell off and go waste your time hating elsewhere.
Creed is back so deal with it.
And of course Alter Bridge is the other guys priority THEY ARE SIGNED with that band DUH! and are
under a contract. Musicians are allowed to have a few bands and many do.Like corey Taylor he has slipknot, stone sour and solo stuff.
SO RELAX and let the guys be mulit taskers. Creed lives and so does Alter Bridge and thats so great !

Casey Stewart | 8/7/2009, 8:55 pm EST

I have been to many concerts and have seen few reunion tours and I will have to say Creed topped my expectations on Thursday night. They provided one of the best shows i have ever been to. They looked amazing and makes me wanna take a trip to see them again in the near future. Thank you creed and God bless You ALL!!

nineinchneil | 8/8/2009, 4:11 am EST

to ray earnest: hey guess what, i listened to their songs, read the lyrics..AND THEY STILL FUCKING SUCK.

Joe | 8/8/2009, 3:14 pm EST

Scott Stapp and a lot of Creed’s music can be described as pretentious, to say the least.

HOWEVER

You can argue taste all day long, but not success.

Snaves | 8/8/2009, 6:59 pm EST

So the original Nickelback and Daughtry is back…meh.

JODI | 8/8/2009, 7:19 pm EST

well, personally, i’m quite excited they are back- i was such a huge fan back in the weathered days. but, i also must say, “Scott, why’d ya do it? Why’d ya shave your head?!?!” While we are on the subject of Daughtry, Chris Daughtry is the only one who should have a shaved head!!!!!!!!!!!!lol

joe | 8/8/2009, 8:23 pm EST

THEY ROCKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chimmy | 8/8/2009, 11:07 pm EST

Love Creed wish I could see them in Hershey but have other plans. But Alter Bridge will always be my favorite. Creed holds a place in my life but Myles Kennedy and the rest of the boys of Alter Bridge are where it’s at!

The Truth | 8/9/2009, 2:35 am EST

IT’s interesting to me how many people waste their time posting how much they dislike a band. I know Scott Stapp and he is now one of the most humble non-pretentious rockers around. Their music spans generatial gaps and speaks to a lot of people. Creed is nothing like Pearl Jam…never was. The truth is counting the “Best Of” CD, their global sales were closer to $40 million & the numbers grow by the thousands on a weekly basis..The music sales still top a lot of (recent) Grammy winners. If someone doesn’t like their music, then that’s their loss. I guess I don’t understand why someone would waste the few brain cells they have left bashing an awesome band.
Jealously???

CREED ROCKED PITTSBURGH!!! | 8/9/2009, 12:26 pm EST

Say what you will, that was the best show I have ever seen. Me, my sister, neice and boyfriend had a tremendous time and wish we could do it again and again. We’ve seen hundreds of shows, but this topped them all! I think Scott Stapp has changed alot, maybe he is conceited, but why the hell not? His voice is incredible and he is drop dead gorgeous (although I miss the hair!). He did it to sorta “cleanse” himself and move on as a better person. I hope they come back to Pitt. CREED SO ROCKS!!!!

Sheina Cox | 8/9/2009, 6:25 pm EST

I am so tired of people puttin down Creed and Stapp! The lyrics alone drag you in and keep you listening.Lets face it the music out there these days I cant even traslate! At least there lyrics come from the heart and you can relate… And when it comes to Stapp, come on we have all done and said things we regret. Is he not allowed to make a mense with hisself and the band? I don’t care about the haters out there I now and forever will love Creed.. Can’t wait to see them in Cincinnati.. And if the boys from Creed should happen to read this, I love ya enough to tell my husband I would sell my wedding rings before I’d sell my Creed tickets!!! To all the haters out there if you don’t like em dont listen, who needs ya anyway. Trust me there are more followers of Creed than you think….!!

Matt | 8/9/2009, 9:53 pm EST

The lyrics would have to drag me in, I’d never go willingly. Good for them for settling grudges anyway, bad blood sucks. Good luck I say, I wouldn’t pay to see or listen to them but great news for old fans, right?

Anonymous | 8/10/2009, 11:02 am EST

I’ve always liked Creed. Their albums helped me through a hard time in life. It is heavy music with an overall positive message. I welcome them back…hope that Scott Stapp keeps his head and doesn’t relapse to the previous douchebaggery

Chuck | 8/10/2009, 12:18 pm EST

I like Creed, but Myles Kennedy is one of the best rock singers out there. Even Zeppelin considered him for Plant’s spot on tour. I love Alter Bridge’s two albums (the songs “In Loving Memory” and “Watch Over You” have got me through tough times)
so I hope they continue together.

John | 8/10/2009, 3:30 pm EST

Never liked them much when they were big the first time. I did see them in concert once (i didn’t pay for it), and it was the most arrogant and self righteous show I’ve ever seen. I never made it through to the end.

Awesome | 8/10/2009, 9:58 pm EST

creed is a good band and they have good song i am glad they made there way back and i hope they keep going on.

Mr. and Mrs. Tanczuk | 8/11/2009, 12:19 am EST

We drove 11 hours to see Creed…and it was worth every mile. The best concert we’ve been so far…Amazing energy and passion.

Mondo Man | 8/11/2009, 9:40 am EST

I think that right now people need to just stop being so damn hatefull and listion to there music, I see alot of people just trash Creed for no ression at all, its non sence is what it is, and as far as Alter Bridge goes, I am a huge fan of them, but for some odd reasion no matter how awsome they sound something is always missing. This tour is not just about Creed but about the music and the growth of one of the biggest bands ever, and when it is all said and done we will see where it goes, I understand where Mark,Scott, and Brian come from by saying that Alter Bridge is something big, but for Stapp you have to understand…Creed is his passion..always has been…but watch Alter Bridge live videos then watch the Creed ones…you see ALOT more people at the Creed ones….

ronaldo | 8/11/2009, 2:52 pm EST

brazil love creed

Blart | 8/12/2009, 4:57 am EST

I saw Jesus at a Creed concert years ago. He even got up and left before then encore.

Guitar Slinger | 8/12/2009, 1:15 pm EST

SOme people like Creed and some people don’t,just like any other band.It doesn’t mean they suck or their fans are dumbasses, and platinum (and some people should learn to spell platinum)status doesn’t necessarily make a band great. It’s all a matter of preference.I’m not a big Creed fan myself, but I don’t think they should be trashed just because of that.

Kyleen | 8/14/2009, 1:30 am EST

I just got home from the Creed concert in Philly. I was sceptical considering all that has happened in the past with Scott’s downspiral in the past. I was actually kind of nervous but this concert tonight was the best concert i’ve ever been to- hands down. It blew me away. Creed was so on point especially Scott’s vocals and Mark’s rediculous guitar work. I fell in love with Creed all over again. Scott really is a changed man, he was so gracious and thankful, at one point I thought he was going to break down and cry. Mark looked looked so happy to be doing what he does best-sick guitar playing…Creed really has come full circle and I am very much looking forward to their new album.

Blart | 8/14/2009, 4:41 am EST

Anonymous | 8/16/2009, 10:48 am EST

I saw Creed last night at Jones Beach. I never doubted that they would be great and they did not disappoint. Scott didn’t miss a note and the guys never missed a beat. By far, the best damn concert I’ve been to. Whether you love or hate Creed, they are one of the best hard rock bands. How many other bands accomplished as much with just 3 albums? Last nights show restored my faith that good rock artists are still out there. Long live Creed!!

Debbie | 8/19/2009, 12:15 pm EST

I saw Creed at Jones Beach 8/15/09, had great seats…AWESOME is all i could say!!! I’m soooo glad they’re back and can’t wait for the new album. Scott Stapp is HOT…love, love, love the shaved head!!! He sounded perfect too! He was definitely greatful and humple wich was really nice to see. Their music and lyrics are GREAT…CREED ROCKS!!!!

Richard | 8/20/2009, 2:26 am EST

Sa what you will, Creed more importantly, the musicians chemistry are what makes the band. Coming from a music background I know finding that perfect chemistry between 4 musicians that create the music is very difficult. Finding a bass player and drummer that gel as well as Scott and Brian, then Mark’s guitar playing and Scott’s lyrics. Just to listen to a band and not go deeper into what is being done by each musician to play as one just shows the tragec narrow minds of the world. I may like some music better than others but I at least appreciate the musicians talent behind the music. I like Creed as well as Alter Bridge and wish them continued sucess in both bands.

Youth Pastor D$ Anderson, IN | 8/22/2009, 4:54 pm EST

Scott Stapp, seems to be a changed man from his previous roll when Creed split. But humble nonetheless, I can’t wait to get ahold of the new album in Oct. When you turn to Jesus doors open, even if He is your last resort before a free fall to relapse of addiction, depression, or even suicide. Good Job Scott!

Lisa | 8/26/2009, 9:43 am EST

Just seen the concert last night in Detroit. I was blown away. Scott was energetic and on fire all night. The band sounds better than ever. So very excited the band is back. Scott, love the new look. Love ya!!!!

Holly | 8/27/2009, 3:14 pm EST

I think their journey is a testament to all. With God’s help we can overcome anything.

I hope my husband and I get to make it to the Orlando show!!

PLEASE keep it up, I need good music to listen to!!

Cindyanne | 9/5/2009, 8:27 am EST

I have been a Creed/Scott Stapp fan from their beginning’s. Our son, Aaron, was the one who git me hooked on Creed. The thing I have always admired about Scott is his ability to be the first one to admit to his mistakes. We are all human in the end, and falter from time to time. Only difference tween Scott and us ordinary folk is that he is in the lime-light, subject to scrutiny. He is a very mild and humble person, a top, “lead-man,” and his lyrics have very powerful meaning.

Michael | 9/6/2009, 12:31 pm EST

I attended the Creed show in New Jersey…great show. I actually had never seen them live before. Being more of an eighties rocker in the likes of KISS, VH and so on..they kicked ass.

I also have heard the studio recording of Overcome. Truly, quite an accomplishment. The lyrics are a personal experience for me as well and hit home. Everyone has their opinions, this mine. Good Stuff…May God Bless them with much more success!

I’m a huge creed fan. I saw them at Blossom and was a little disappointed with the 30-40 second pause between each song. Otherwise, the music was great; but why not roll from 1 song right into the next. at points you thought they were done playing.

We just saw Creed last night in Orlando and they were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! We were able to meet the band before the concert and they could not have been more gracious and kind. I am a fan for life! (Loved Staind opening too!)GREAT COMEBACK GUYS!!!!!!!!

I'm Just Sayin' | 9/17/2009, 3:40 pm EST

Just an observation…If I truly disliked a band…I wouldn’t go to their concert even if the tickets were free. I also wouldn’t spend my time reading posts about them so that I could spend even more of my time writing about them. It really makes you question the motivation (or authenticity) of some of the negative posts.
As for me….I LOVE CREED and have no problem spending my time giving them the praise they deserve!!!! INCREDIBLE concert guys!!! And Scott Stapp…YOU ROCK!!!!

mATTERgOD | 9/18/2009, 8:08 pm EST

Despite all of the posters complaining about others putting down Creed, all I see are people who love them. You have that right and rock on.
However, there are a few like myself that truly appreciate the sanctity of a true rock star. Unfortunately, Scott Stapp paraded around like one while he was not the real deal. Only in his soul is the truth. I saw Creed in concert many years ago and I was very put off by his righteous act.
I wish nothing but the best for him and his family…he certainly has a lot to sort through. His fate was not set to be one of the bearers “carrying the rock.” The success he had came with a responsibility which I’m sure he now somewhat understands. There were several roads he could’ve went down…he chose the road of an imposter. May his future be humble, insightful, and joyful.
There were some of us who didn’t appreciate the reckless assualt on the integrity of a sub-genre that is full of integrity.
Long live DYLAN, MORRISON, TOWNSHEND, VEDDER, JACK WHITE, and the like!

Bry in KC | 9/21/2009, 3:31 pm EST

I think Creed is a very good band and they just got to much rotation on the radio back in the late 90’s. Its not there fault. Also when I heard “My Own Prison” in 2001 it was a breath of fresh air because comercial rock music had been dead much of the 90’s. I remember in 1995 when my Guitar World magazine read “Rock and Roll is DEAD”. And they were right. Long live Creed.

Teresa | 9/21/2009, 3:49 pm EST

Amen “I’m just sayin”. You nailed it. Why are these people on here if they don’t like the band. Get a life and quit hating. If you don’t like it..don’t listen. And why sit and read about them? Truly insane! I saw them in Columbus recently..awesome show! Every show of theirs I have ever seen has been awesome..and you don’t find that a whole hell of a lot these days! I got to meet them also and they seem like great guys. Their music makes me feel alive..no matter what is happening in my life..it calms me. Truly awesome band!

Teresa | 9/21/2009, 3:53 pm EST

oh…and Blart…you are an idiot.

MLA | 9/21/2009, 3:57 pm EST

I’ve loved Creed since they played “My Own Prison” on the radio for the first time, before their first CD came out over 10yrs ago. They’re just an awesome band all around. Lyrics, drums, bass, lead guitar, vocals. The lyrics to their songs are very prolific. Then on tour these guys are AMAZING!!!

Life is a journey, and you never know how are paths are going to meet, but since mid 2008 I’ve had the opportunity to get to know Scott Stapp on a personal level, and all I have to say is that he is a kind, generous, respectful, non-pretentious soul off stage. And, a bad-ass song writer/singer/performer! I saw them in West Palm Beach 9-16, and CREED was on FIRE!!! AMAZING AMAZING Show!!!

Just because some hate him doesn’t make him unworthy! We are all worthy!!!

barbiegirl | 9/21/2009, 3:59 pm EST

I love CREED! We are seeing them tomorrow night and I cannot wait. They are amazing and the lyrics to their songs are awesome. Can’t wait for the new album. CREED RULES!!!

Teresa | 9/21/2009, 4:23 pm EST

I hope Creed reads all the nice comments. After all the negative publicity and harsh critics..good to know how much a lot of people truly love them.

acannada | 9/21/2009, 10:49 pm EST

I think it’s awesome that CREED is back with a new album!! I can’t wait to buy it! All the haters’ with negative things to say, why do you even waste your time? We all havre our own tastes in music, and Creed is one of the best bands out there today and they actually have a message!

Lyn | 9/22/2009, 12:51 am EST

I love Creed! I was so happy to hear they are back. I loved their music before and their concerts were awesome. I can’t wait to hear all their new music. I know I am going to love it!
All the people who are on here posting negative stuff- get a life.
Why not find a band you like – if any exist- and post something good about them? I for one can’t wait to see what Creed does! I know it will be awesome!!!!!! Welcome back!!!!

Roy Kerschner | 9/22/2009, 4:53 am EST

I agree with Ray Earnest in his post. I love music more than the average person but there has been a huge void that Creed filled. A band I wanted to see live, music that gave me goosebumps when I’d hear it and had me wanting more with each riff and power cord. A new album is my adult Christmas. For the people who bash them… Why? I personally am not out bashing Michael Jackson, Elvis or any other band that Millions love but I could care less about. It would just be a waste of my time because the fans could care less what I think just as I do about the Creed Haters. I am just as much of a fan for Alter Bridge. I just Don’t see how they can do both factions without one or both loosing something along the way. For now I’ll take what I can get and enjoy it for as long as it lasts. Thanks for the music guys!!!!!

Peter A | 9/22/2009, 7:46 am EST

I saw Creed in New Jersey a few weeks ago and it was the best concert I’ve ever been to! I wonder what Blarts legacy will be once he gets up off his parents couch? Something for the haters to think about. Creed’s sold out THOUSANDS of places, made millions of dollars and reached generations worth of fans! I’m a fan for life! Long live Creed! Welcome back!!

Zach C | 9/22/2009, 7:44 pm EST

I have been a Creed fan since before they hit it big. They have been my favorite band since they came out. I saw them on New Years Eve 1998 and they were awesome. When I heard they had broken up, it really sucked. I, like many others, held on to the hope that they would reunite and bring more music and when I found out that they were back earlier in the year, I was ecstatic. I saw them in ATL on 9/12 and ended up about 5 feet from the stage. This show was the best one I have been to. Overcome was awesome as was Say I, MOP, What’s This Life For, etc!!! I am thinking about seeing them again in B’ham next month, but am undecided right now. Alter Bridge is good, but, in my opinion, Myles Kennedy has nothing on Scott Stapp!!! Anyway, I am glad to see Creed back in the music scene. As for the haters, 26 million plus records sold speaks for itself! Everyone has their preferences.

Matt | 9/23/2009, 10:36 am EST

Despite some opinions, Creed is a great band. On top of that, there is nothing wrong with selling records and having fans believe in your music. Go see them live—even if you weren’t a fan before, you will be. One of the best live bands to come out in a long time.

SeaL | 9/23/2009, 3:35 pm EST

I’ve been a huge Creed fan since the beginnin… I was MAJORLY said when they split up. I saw Scott Stapp play a USO tour in Naples, Italy last year, and was super impressed with his talent and energy and attitude. The guys that played behind him played all the same notes as the old band Creed, but it wasn’t the same — the chemistry (as an earlier poster said) wasn’t there. I spoke with him afterwards, and he was so generous, so humble, and so rooted, more so than any other musician or movie star I’ve ever met, and I’ve met qutie a few.

When Alter Bridge formed up and released their first album, I was very excited. Miles does have an AMAZING voice — I think vocally he’s far more talented than Scott (and that’s saying something), especially from a technical vocal proficiency standpoint, BUT – and this is a BIG BUTT… :) AB doesn’t have the same chemistry. The song writing is really good, but it’s not amazing. The collaboration is really good, but it’s not awe-SOME (in the literal sense of the word) like Creed’s is. I’ll still buy AB albums, but I was GIDDY when I heard Creed was back together. And I don’t do giddy.

Gobs | 9/24/2009, 8:23 am EST

Always loved Creed. Awesome Band. Recently saw them at the Darien Lakes Performing Arts Center. Tremendous. Could have played a little longer. Took my girlfriend, who could have cared less. She could not believe how good they were. You can hate them it you want, they will continue to sell millions of albums, and sell out every venue they play.

Tee | 9/24/2009, 4:56 pm EST

This is mainly about making money – that’s it!

Tee | 9/24/2009, 4:57 pm EST

MYLES Kennedy is the better one! Much better than Stapp – ANYDAY!

Chelsea | 9/25/2009, 3:15 pm EST

I just went to their Dallas concert and it was amazing. I was expecting crap and was handed gold. They have improved so much in their absence. Good job guys!

LuvAdam476 | 9/25/2009, 7:19 pm EST

#1 I am a die hard ADAM LAMBERT FAN!! Can’t wait for his debut album!

#2. I am not a religious individual, more spiritual, but the music that CREED delivers is AWESOME ROCK music!!!! To combine the lyrics with this kind of music is a marvel in itself.

I don’t care if people call them a christian band or whatever, I discovered them by mistake and bacame a huge fan!!! The music and lyrics and Scott’s voice is unbelievable!! STAPP IS AMAZING! ALWAYS GAVE 110% ON ALL HIS PERFORMANCES AND MAN DOES HE SING WITH PASSION.

HE MEANS WHAT HE SINGS AND IT COMES FROM THE HEART….A HEART OF GOLD!

IF HE DIDNT MAKE ERRORS THEN HE WOULDN’T BE HUMAN…..JUST LIKE ALL OF US…. STOP BURDENING ONE MAN WITH ALL YOUR HATRED AND JEALOUSY!

AND HE WAS’NT EGOISTIC.. HE WAS DEEP AND A LITTLE BIT OF A LONER… SPIRITUALITY IS A WONDERFUL THING BUT IT TAKES TIME TO CONNECT AND UNDERSTAND IT AND YOU DO REBEL AGAINST IT AT SOME POINT BEFORE YOU FIND THE MAGIC….

CREED ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pp.s. Im so not sorry for the caps :)
