  • Coldplay have sold 1.358 million digital albums in the U.S., which means they’re the first band to break the million mark. According to a press release, Chris Martin and Co. were also the first to sell one million digital tracks, a feat they accomplished after the 2005 release of X&Y.

  • 50 Cent tells MTV News Before I Self Destruct has a new release date: September 29th. He also described the LP as “perfect.”
  • Beck’s Record Club has released its latest cover — the Velvet Underground & Nico’s “Run Run Run” — on his official Website.
  • Modest Mouse’s new B to “Perpetual Motion Machine,” titled “History Sticks to Your Feet,” is streaming now at Pitchfork.
