For those who are quick to Judge Michael Jackson, please ask yourself how would you react to such a traumatic event? This is utterly horrible.

I am really glad they showed this. It explains a lot I think. For that to happen to someone who obviously depended on his image, this had to be devastating phsysologically, not to mention the physical pain. It’s understandable that this would change him emotionally for years to come.

And not to mention this happening to someone who already had major self esteem issues by this point we all know now.

I loved MJ. I loved the way he touched and entertained the world. He was truly magical. And, the fact that he preferred to be a bottom-boy when his male fans paid him a private visit, makes him all the more giving and special.

Precious child of God, he was. So stunningly gifted and such a gentle soul….Even with this horrific event in his life he was able to turn it into something good by donating the money to charity and calling attention to burn victims…Wish he’d been able to manage his pain without extreme drug dependency, but he had Lupus, too, and I wonder how much that contributed to his pain.

how is this graphic? it was an unfortunate accident but millions of people suffer serious injury without turning into junkies. He wasn’t a hero, just a sad, sad man under all the talent. As awful as that incident was, I do not believe that is what triggered his addiction to painkillers. He had many health problems that required medication over the years, even if the Pepsi commercial went off without a hitch, I don’t think that would’ve avoided what was to become of Michael. Besides, there are people who develop dependency on prescription drugs and eventually overcome them, with the help of family and friends. Eminem had a painkiller addiction too, but he went to rehab for it. Of course, it helped that he wasn’t living under the scrutiny of the media like Michael and his personal problems were nowhere near as bad as Michael’s. Nor was he as naive and overly trusting as Michael and he wasn’t surrounded by people who were interested in keeping him sedated just so they could take advantage of him, like Michael.

I burnt my hand putting out a curtain in my room that lit on fire. Using my hands was the only thing i could do or i would have lost my whole house. I am 24 around the same age he was i believe. I can tell you that the blisters from my burns on my fingers hurt so bad i had to have them in cold water or it would be unbearable…now imagine that on your head. I don’t even want to. RIP Michael. I forgot to mention that even with my hands in the cold water where the blisters were hurt unbearably after so i had to continue to put ice in the water over and over again. This is absolutely insane and tragic. MJ’s head was on fire for over 10 seconds. A few seconds more and he could have easily been dead. The irony is that MJ was such an astute and focused performer that he didn’t even notice he was on fire, and what saved him was himself when he did that 1080 spin. Where were the safety precautions? Unlike what’s said in the article, there were NO fire extinguishers on-site. MJ extinguished the fire himself with the spin. I cannot begin to imagine the lasting pain of such a burn. I’ve burned my finger with a split second on a hot pan and it’s terrible with blisters and scars. He was ON FIRE on HIS HEAD for over 10 seconds. This is not funny and I can begin to understand why he was addicted to pain killers. With the amount of surgeries and skin grafts he needed for recovery, this kind of pain DOES NOT go away. And it goes to show what kind of person that he is that he SETTLED with Pepsi AND gave that money away for establish a burn center for children. All the people laughing here and judging him have never given away a CENT in their pathetic, hateful lives, and have nothing to feel good about themselves except to laugh at other people when they themselves are the ones that get laughed at and beaten up in the real world. HolyCrap, I remember when that happened and even though it sounded a little serious, all we really saw was Michael being loaded onto a stretcher and waving his gloved hand. So you really thought everything was OK. But his WHOLE HEAD was on FIRE! I almost fell out of my seat watching that.

No one knew the devastation that this single moment in Jackson’s life would cause, but its seems that a domino effect would soon follow, thus leading to the tragic loss of one of music’s finest. Despite what you think, you cannot deny that this man is a legend, and his life will live through his music, never being forgotten.

The best part is that he danced his way out of a dangerous situation. But, I will he would have spinned sooner. I don’t even think he knew it because he wasn’t expecting it to go off early. I think I have learned my lesson from watching this and that is to never play with fire.

OK, it’s time. I have been very sarcastic and cynical about this whole thing. MJ was a great pop star, nothing more. Yet the media crammed this down out throats for what, 3 weeks now? He was a drug addict pervert weirdo. Too bad he’s dead but those are the facts man. All of you “Oh, poor Michael”, “Whoever is without sin cast the first stone” MJ apologists have brought this backlash onto yourselves. Don’t ask me to feel your loss. Difficult moment? Yes, but for god’s sake suck it up man. No doubt Michael received the best medical care money could buy and he did indeed receive a burn but he was not horribly disfigured. Many people go through many difficult events in their lives but to blame everything that occurred after this moment on this incident is weak and is indicative of what we’ve become as a society.
He consumed drugs because he was a fool and his family is to be blamed for allowing him to act in this manner. How could he be such a great father if he was stoned all of the time? If you were poor and acted in this manner they would have Child Protective Services on your butt in a heartbeat. Money buys everything including the complicity of those that sponge off of you. The Jackson family will do everything they can to make sure the truth never comes out about him because they want to keep that cash a flowin’.

If this is what caused Mjs addiction to drugs then fair enough. Not only would he have needed drugs to help with the pain, but also a different set of drugs for anxiety, and also priapism.

I am very sad now that he’s gone. i loed him so much.All of you that hate Michael should be ashamed of you’re selves. He is the most loving,caring,cutest,nice,good singing person ever lived in time. He made a great change. He wanted to help the world and save it not crush it.Miley Cyrus said he was her desire. I hate who ever hates Michael. Because he made a change for you. he made a change to help you. So maybe you should lay off. The world is going through a hard time just like me. I cried all Summer long.
