I don’t know why people are commenting about Michael Jackson here when the Rolling Stone News Ticker article above has nothing to do with M.J. Having said that I’d like to say: Karl Malden may you and that big schnozz of yours rest in peace. Also to my pet hamster, Twiggy, who died 3 weeks ago, may he rest in peace too.

I am 45 years old and me and my brothers and my family grew up on the Jackson Five, and we have loved them forever man, and of course Michael Jackson, I feel like a part of my childhood died with Michael one of my favorite was I’ll Be There, loved everything he has done since Off The Wall, we have all lost the best music and the GREATEST ENTERTAINER OF ALL TIME, I doubt you will every see a talent like that in our lifetime, a whole lifetime of memories, so get up off his back about allegations, I mean “were you there”!, let the KING OF POP rest in peace amongst the stars in heaven, will never forget the Victory Tour at Cleveland Browns Stadium back in the day, GOD BLESS THE JACKSON FAMILY AND MICHAEL’S CHILDREN.

Humbily submitted,
Louis Anthony Collier Sr.

Hey, where did everybody go?

grandma | 7/8/2009, 8:02 pm EST

I listened and watched Michael for years. I was awed by him. He was magic and he could take you so far away from anything that was troubling you and into his world. Mr Gordy said he was the best entertainer thet ever lived, and he was,he was also a world treasure and a beautiful gift from God. We have only begun to feel the loss of him and what he truly meant to all of us, we did have him and we are the world, but now Michael sings and dances with the Angels and I will miss him so, this old white grandma. Thankyou Michael with much gratitude and love…Your family and children will most assuredly be comforted and blessed by our Lord.My prayers will be with you always.

I don’t understand why the passing of such great human being as Michael Jackson brings the worst of some people. We were fortunate enough to listen to his music and enjoy his dancing and his shows. But people are not content with letting people be. No wonder Jesus was crucified at the cross. Some people will never change. Keep believing in your papparazzi and the never ending lies that certain newspapers put out, no wonder we live in the world we live in.

Filipinos are grieving for Michael’s demise , he was such a great loss to the entertainment industry and to the people who loves his music. In fact, all of us were eagerly waiting for that “This Is It” concert that he was supposed to be showing soon. What a loss!We just hope that the album containing the songs for that concert will be released soon.Am sure it will be selling like hot cakes. The memorial service for him was superb and we learned a lot more about him,his charities, his concern for world peace and lots of many nice things about him.We love you more Michael Jackson! For us you are the true epitome of a great entertainer and benefactor..Your memory will live forever!God bless you.

Truly MJ is the King of POP, I love him, his songs, no matter you say bad about him, he is “the best you could ever imagine” (thank you Paris). He may be gone but his memories will always linger on. God bless your soul MJ, may you rest in peace.

I remember watching Michael on MTV with my kids. I thought “Thriller” was the most entertaining piece I had ever seen. I just wish everyone had an ounce of the love and compassion in them that Michael had. He didn’t care what color a person was, what age they were, what their sexual preference was, or what gender they were. He treated everyone with respect and dignity. I think he had one of the biggest hearts I have ever seen. My prayers and thoughts are with his family and beautiful children. I try to be like Michael and never ever judge a person by the color of their skin. I have friends and relatives of several different races. I love them all.

I remember The Jackson 5 when Diana Ross introduced them on Ed Sullivan Show I knew Michael was special then and I doubt we will ever see a talent so great. It,s too bad we could not give him his flowers while he was here with us. There will never be another. My heart breaks for his children and especially his mother.

Thank you for the post about my brother, Drake Levin. Our entire family is humbled by the support we have been receiving. His wife is selling his Epiphone on ebay, it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity to own a piece of R&R history.

MJ was a perv – why does having some talent give him a “get out of jail free card” in life? Good riddance.

Im sadder that Drake Levin passed – great player, great band, great man. RIP – Raiders forever!!!

Music lost a great one with the passing of Drake Levin. He was one of my childhood heroes. I remember what a thrill it was to watch the Raiders on Where the Action Is and collect their records. Love and peace to his family. He won’t be forgotten.

DRAKE, WE WILL MISS YOU. WHEN THE BAND PLAYED “JUST LIKE ME”, YOU KNOW WE WANTED TO BE JUST LIKE YOU! GREAT GUITAR WORK ON ONE OF THE GREATEST R & R SONGS OF ALL TIME! “HEY” TO SMITTY FROM US.
