Decent enough list. I love the hell out of Billie Jean, don’t get me wrong, but I’m not sure why some people classify it as the best MJ song. Wanna Be Startin’ Something is a favorite of mine, and I’m very, very surprised to see it at number two. Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough is my second favorite. I Want You Back is a duh. Rock With You is a complete surprise. Beat It is another duh. Black Or White should probably be higher, but I’m content with its place. Remember The Time is a surprise to see on this list at all. Human Nature should be higher, and has anyone noticed that Thriller isn’t even on this list? Neither is Bad. In fact the only song that shares its name with its respective album is, surprisingly, Off The Wall.

All too often Thriller and Bad get all of the love. I’m glad to see that Off The Wall, Thriller’s equal, is still remembered so fondly.

Has anyone looked at the album covers for Off The Wall, Thriller, and Bad right next to each other? His change seems so abrupt.

Everyone is comparing this loser with the ONLY KING “ELVIS”..This FREAK would make a pimpile no ELVIS’S ass..Elvis was worth between 15-20 million in 1977 when he died..The child molister (mihael jackson) was $440,000,000.00 IN DEBT…Thats a half BILLION in DEBT..Maybe he is related to the WORTHLESS O-Bama…

I Love The song “Billie Jean” but there are a lot more songs by Michael that are just as good He was a big part of My childhood and I still can’t believe There’s now a world without a Michael Jackson (Weird Isn’t it!!!)

Probably one of the most outrageous things ever thought. There are so many things wrong with that I don’t even know where to start…

The least of your problems is that Michael wrote many of his own songs. Then there’s the unnecessary smear at Obama, the unfounded and completely unproven claim of child molestation, and the idea that the mountain of money that your sitting on is relevant to your legacy. You can’t take it with you.

I wonder what I would be like if I knew about Joe Strummer back in 2003. I’d probably want to fucking cry because he’s written so many lyrics that have just shaped me as a person.

I can only imagine that many, many people are feeling a similar way in the wake of this. Like Elvis, Freddie, or even John Lennon, Michael Jackson didn’t die with a promising musical future in front of him. These men had all passed their peak. However, all died too young. It’s not like losing a Kurt, a Robert Johnson, or a Hendrix just as they’re about to change the world, but it’s shocking nonetheless.

…Michael gave that interview where he said the cops took pictures of his peee-nis and lower honches? HIGH-larious. What are “lower honches”?

We are fortunate to live in a society/country were we have the right to freedom of speach, not everyone will have the same opinion on anything in this world but if learn how to respect one anothers opinions and not judge ANYONE, it would make this place we live in much better. There isn’t anyone on listed here that was there, in the house/room with Michael Jackson other than those physically involved so to judge or make comments on what you really have no idea how much truth thre is to it only makes you followers. Innocent men and women have been condemned to a death sentence in the USA only to find out years and years later that they were innocent. Many people today who have been inprisoned for many many years who pleaded their innocence but yet were still sent to prison for a crime they didn’t commit, but those of you who are quick to judge and listen to what the media, other people say never stop and keep an open mind of the possibility that they just might be innocent. So stop judging, hating and following and unless you were an actual party to the crime or accusation you really have no right to condemn anyone or speak about something you know nothing about. As far as Michael being in debt and Elvis having more money.. Again, are you his bookkeeper? Are you the one who was taking care of Elvis’s finances or Michael’s finances.. NO YOU WEREN”T – so stop bad mouthing the things you really know nothing about and leave it to the people who are personally involved. It’s not our lives, all that matters is the music the both of them gave us to enjoy cause of the talent they both had, that’s all that should matter to us, their personal lives shouldn’t be of any concern to them, they are entitled to keep their personal lives to themselves instead of the public being all up in their business! What about the child molesters that live right around the corner from you.. why don’t you talk about him? He’s the one you should be talkin sh** about cause he’s in your neighborhood. Elvis and Michael are irrelevant to every single one of us. We need to stop being so involved with these stars lives and let them live their lives – just care about what they give us as actors, singers, entertainers.. the rest is non of any of our business!

People like you and the media have very little respect for the family that is grieving right now, put yourself in their shoes, if you were them and it was your child who just passed away, I’m pretty sure you wouldn’t want the entire world to be all up in the business and slandering your childs name. Just goes to show the type of person one is when the words that come out of one’s mouth and onto paper… try being a blessing instead of a ball of negative energy, depending on how one’s outlook is on life, one can always find good in all things, even if it’s the worse thing in the world. My prayers are with not only the Jackson family but to each and every single person who has suffered the loss of a loved one.

Michael jackson | 7/3/2009, 9:58 am EST

I am garateful and saddened by some of the comments i have read here, first, i never said i was the King of pop, Liz taylor gave me the title,i was just a blessed musician who happened to run into a few health probles and emotional ones, you guys have no idea what it was like being a kid with talent, bieng depended on by the whole family to carry forth the American dream for them, has it ever occured to anybody maybe i never wanted all this, i did it all for my family and by the time i was an adult, i had no other skills to earn a living except music and so i continued, if it had been up to me, i would not have pursued a music career untill i was about 27, stardom is a very hard thing,am suprised i held it together that long, it was the hardest thing being myself, being the king of pop, when i got sick(skin disese)i wanted to quit the business but the more i wanted to retire the more the songs and the ideas came to my head nad drove me crazy, i wish i had met a nice girl who really saw me for who i was instaed of seeing MJ, the king of pop, i would have been haapy in some small apartment somewhere raising children and haveing a normal job, about those boys, i never molested any of them, thier gurdians surely saw a way to make money out of me knowing how much i had and how much i loved kids, the media made all the wrong connections and thier got thier story, the kids and the parents got thier money, but what did i get ,just endless misery and embarrasment. If i could go back in time i would pherhaps never have thought of modifing my nose to breath better on stage, i would have taken medication for my didsease in time, and i would have been honest about going bald as a result of the pepsi incindent instead of still pretending to have hair, i cant say where i am right now and you dont have to believe this is me but you all know that it is because you just know, but you wount see me around anymore, sorry for all those who had bought tickest to my show, keep them as soulviners or something, sorry dad Joseph for not doing everthinhg you asked me to do, sorry mum for not being a good witness to the good news, i wish i could go back to 1966 door to door mission in Gary, sorry jackie for taking the spot even though you were the eldest, marlon, tito jermaine, randyplease forgive me for leaving you guys, i was selfish and i thought i could rule the world, to Janet, rebbie and lattoya, i couldnt have asked for better sisters, i will always be with you, to all my nieces and nephwes, please dont try to be me, its the wrong kids of ground to walk, be youeselves, listen to your parents, if you find love dont ever lose it,i never found love and i lost the little i found
to all my fans, when you listen to my records, dont feel pity for the way it ended, but use my records and my story to celebrate yours.I hope you know that i loved you

I am so upset that Michael Jackson is gone, I’m in complete shock. I think I’m dreaming and I didn’t wake up yet. I am a huge fan of Micahel J, all I know, as I was growing up listening to his music and his views of how he wants to change the world. I am now thirty four, he was the same good person before he passed away. My heart goes out to you Michael, I love you very much, you will be missed and remembered. My regards to the whole family keep strong, and those kids should be in the Jackson’s family custody. I hope that one day I end up visiting neverland. God Bless you all lovel, tina

MJ was on the verge of the ultimate come back with his London tour. Thankfully we have the video to see what he had planned to top himself yet again. He was the consummate professional- ambitious, driven, perfectionist and above all, MULTI-talented. Gone too soon…

SouLja girL | 7/8/2009, 3:24 pm EST

i am still in a state of shock..
MJ’s music is the one that me and my grandma can listen to together and dance to the beatt of his music…the older generation and our generation are ubited with MJ’s music..we trully have lost the most taLented and the greatest entertainer of all time…
MJ’s music and dance moves will never be copied by anyother artists no matter how they try..:)
Rest in peace Michael..we miss you…

Give Michael Jackson a break. Who are all you yellow bellies to dig him down? I have always figured that there is a reason for all actions and behavior. Try walking a mile in the other man’s shoes see if you have the guts and the stamina to withstand what that person felt. Mike was the best but, the indignities and anguish he was subjected to caused a pain so severe that he reacted by becoming self injurous. Unfortunately, he had very little control over the pain that caused him to self destruct…

To the comment of Mike and the insensible people (like, Shanna):

You guys are ignorant fools, and i feel bad for you.. Karma will handle things with you and the rest who has been saying evil things towards someone who is so kind and generous. Michael Joseph Jackson, the King of Pop, The Legend. He just wanted to share his love with everyone. Its too bad that evil exists in this sad sad sad world that it killed him. He was deeply DEEPLY misunderstood and lonely. He is just like u, me and everyone else. He is not perfect yet he never stopped loving his fans and his family. SO MIKE & SHANNA, WHAT HAVE U DONE SO FAR??? ARE U PERFECT??? ARE U BETTER THAN EVERYONE ELSE???

I will never forget his music and the love that he spread around the world. He and his music will live forever. His magical music will definitely always send positive energy to me.

GONE TO SOON YET FINALLY AT PEACE AND HAPPY IN HEAVEN.

I’ve read the comments people have made about MJ. All the one’s who loved MJ had great things to say about him! I really liked the things I read from “Peaceful”. I couldn’t have said it better myself!! I loved Michael’s music and I loved to watch him dance. I was and still am a big fan of his. Some people have made some very bad judgements and said some awful things about him. I believe Michael was very misunderstood and because he was a big name star people wanted to know him. I remember when I was younger, I wanted to know everything about him that I could. The media took advantage of that in a good and bad way. The worse they can make things appear, the better their magazine sells or the better their ratings on tv. I can even see how people would be after money to the point that they would say things that aren’t true. Michael was aquitted of the charges of abuse. What happened to “innocent until proven guilty? I’ve had things said about me that weren’t true, I’m sure we all have. I live in a small town where everyone knows everyone and they sure think they know your business! As bad as that has been for me, for Michael it’s magnified a thousand times. I am so broken hearted that Michael is gone. I’m sure his family and fans have not heard the last of the bad comments or bad tv coverage about his life either. I’m sure there are more people who would love to sell their lies about him to try and make money. I can only say that God is the only True Judge and the only True King. Before poeple say bad things about someone else make sure to get the “plank” out of your own eye before you try and remove it from someone elses. I sure couldn’t throw any stones at Michael and I don’t think anyone else can either. My heart goes out to all his family. I pray Michael is at peace with Jesus.

To all the fans of Michael Jackson together with me.FANs we will fight the right and love of our Beloved King of Pop we will never let anyone hit him even he is already gone.It make me made and sad that there are still people throwing stones on him. It’s so bad.It is human nature. But in the end only GOD CAN JUDGE ANYONE: AS GOD SAID THOSE WHO NOT COMITTED ANY SIN;CAST THE FIRST STONE. People forgot about the words of God and it is time for them to open thier eyes and mind together with their heart. Judge yourself first before you judge others.Feeling angels but deep inside devils…To all haters time will come and judge you..

It is still so hard to get over. I can’t seem to come to an end in my mourning for such a pure and wonderful person’s death. Many thoughts keep racing in my mind daily about all of this. When I see the (still continuing) news, it hurts to know that it’s much like a sharkfest. It’s always, “Sources say…”…Then the media-news just take someone’s personal opinions, without fact, without evidence, without conscience and just slam it out there to the ignorant population who just goes with the flow in judging someone they have never met or known personally. It is just amazing to me how like sheep we all seem to be. Just follow the gossip right off the cliffs. IT’s amazing to me also that NONE of Micheal’s good deeds were shown throughout the media the way the “sources say…” crap is. Did you know that when he’d tour in other countries, the earnings would go to charities and hospitals with children? Did you know that he’d spend as much time visiting little sick children in hospitals as much as he wrote the music that would flow out of him? He even paid the bills. Once he saw a child who was only about 2 and needed a liver transplant and was on a waiting list, destined to die and MICHEAL when all over the world to find a donor…HIMSELF, after a good while, he did find one, paid for it all and the child was saved. There are countless stories like this I could spend all day typing out…but when was the last time we all saw THOSE types of reports?
Every time he made an unusual friendship that the public just called wierd (due to their ignorant and judgemental standards), THAT would get posted. I saw two interviews yesterday with Lisa Marie and Micheal talking to Diane Sawyer about their marriage, how Lisa proudly boasted about it. In the next interview after the divorce and with the same reporter, Lisa, her words and body language was of embarrassment that she ever married him. Diane asked “….and what about his looks?”….Lisa looked embarrassed and didn’t really say too many nice things. It was like watching two school girls gossiping about an ugly kid in school and NEVER, NEVER did Micheal ever say anything negative about her. NEVER did he ever say anything negative about the people who were accusing him of terrible acts. I am not even that good a person. I doubt most of us are.
Did it ever occur to anyone that having sleepovers with kids is something he did beacuse he never saw himself as an adult? He never was able to have any sort of a childhood and so just like the Peterpan charactor he related to, just could not bring himself to grow up. And people twisted every bit of it. Disgruntled, fired ex-employees testified against him, etc. DId they bother to tell that many of them were fired for stealing and being dishonest at neverland in the first place.
When I see all these ads on UTUBE and read for hours each day researching him, watching home movies he made, etc. I begin to wonder if we have all seen an angel unaware.
The bible tells us to be careful how we treat others because we don’t know if we treat angels unaware. It also says not to judge, for by the same measure you dudge, it will be judged against you as well. I wonder how many people are getting Karma as a direct result of this.
I find it interesting that the very people who accused him are now exposed. One mother of one of those evil kids is now arrested for welfare fraud and has a record of having sued others for millions too, but are you even seeing any of this on the news? Martin Bashir, the reporter who made a documentary and then backstabbed Micheal for his own promotion now has a brain tumor.
Then I wonder more deeply….
In the bible, satan’s original name was Lucifer. He was the most beautiful and creator of wonderful music. He was stripped of all that when he was cast from heaven and landed here where he and 1/3 of the fallen angels go to and frow the earth seeking whom they may devour. Could it be that God blessed Micheal with talent beyond imagination? Music seemed to protrude from his inner being. No matter how much effort was used to make Micheal feel ugly enough to change his face, he remained so beautiful. His smile and eyes were just like an angels. His voice, talents were not of this world. The media twisted most every event in his life. He could never find unconditional love anywere, he could never find true friends yet he was a true friend to everyone he called friend. His heart was pure and he was childlike always. And without trying to sould like I am preaching, but in the bible it also says, “unless you aproach God like a little child, you cannot see the kingdom of heaven” In Issiah it says that God wants that we visit the sick, give to the unfortunate, take care of widows and orpans, and above all LOVE.” and Micheal Jackson was faithful in all those things the entire time he was on this planet.
He was sensitive, and things hurt him. God truely blessed him indeed and even though his death may not have been natural, I believe God allowed things to go the way they did because he could see ahead that more sorrow may have come upon Micheal and wanted to save him from further pain. My mourning seems to continue because of all these thoughts. I have known him for more than 40 years. He was kind, peacekeeping, loved everyone and the world. He did good everywhere he went. I cannot even say that about myself as a human being and I am sure most of us can’t. So please, be careful abotu judging others without true facts. Be careful about listening to the things you hear on the news. Be careful about hating in your heart. Be careful the words you say about others or to others. Words have the power to heal or destroy. I pray for the remaining family and I am at peace knowning full well, that God truley loved this man. He sent Micheal to help the unfortunate on this earth. He gave him huge blessings and he rescued him and now he lives in a real paradise unmateched by anything we could ever imagine. I am happy about that. I cannot wait until we see him there again. I write this in the hopes that it may touch someone and help the healing process of this great loss. Thank you for reading.

MJ never molested any children, get real, these were money hungry leeches looking to make a quick buck in a lawsuit. This man was around so many children that if he were a child molestor there would be a lin eup from Canada to California!

His reason for wanting to be around children because of their innocence is no wonder, the kids are the only ones who didn’t try to leech off of him!!!!

R.I.P MJ, those of us with sense no you were innocent and we will always treasure your music!!!
