Michael Jackson’s Mother Granted Temporary Custody of Children

Michael Jackson’s mother Katherine Jackson was awarded temporary custody of the deceased singer’s three children today, the AP reports. Katherine Jackson will also go to court in order to permanently retain custody of the children, Jackson family attorney L. Londell McMillan told NBC News this morning. Katherine Jackson filed a petition in a Los Angeles Probates Court seeking legal guardianship of the three children, and an August 3rd hearing has been scheduled. Jackson’s father Joe seemed certain sure the family would get custody of their grandchildren, telling CNN yesterday, “We’re not trying to get custody. We will get custody and have custody.”

McMillan told NBC News Jackson’s three kids — Prince Michael Jr., 12; Paris Michael Katherine, 11; and Prince Michael II, 7 — should be raised by their grandmother, as Katherine Jackson would provide “a loving and stable environment for the children.” According to the petition filed in court, Katherine Jackson claims that the children have “no relationship with their biological mother.” Debbie Rowe is the birth mother of Prince Michael Jr. and Paris Michael Katherine. McMillan said that Rowe has made no attempt to seek custody of the children as of yet. Unusually, on the petition, the mother for Jackson’s youngest child Prince Michael II was listed as “None,” TMZ reports.

After her divorce from Jackson in 1999, Rowe gave up her custody rights until 2003, when a court had her rights restored when Jackson was on trial for child molestation. In 2006, Rowe and Jackson once again worked out a deal that would give Jackson full custodial rights. Legal experts tell the Los Angeles Times that if Rowe were to challenge Katherine Jackson’s petition, she would have a good case as the initial waiving of her parental rights for her two children with Jackson would probably be viewed as illegal. If the birth mother of Prince Michael II were to be revealed, she too would likely cause a challenge for Katherine’s petition.

I think that these children will eventually be removed from the custody of the Jackson family.

I will not be surprised to learnt hat these are not even the biologocal children of Michael Jackson.

In the months and years to come, we will probably learn more and confirm long held suspicions regarding the real life of Michael Jackson.

Lashawn | 6/29/2009, 2:36 pm EST

I agree with Richard, I really think that these kids aren’t MJ biological kids. I knew that some times when you have mixed race children one may take the full color of one of the parents, but this kids are completely one color. Even though may have had a skin problem, that does not change your DNA.

Kevin the Robot | 6/29/2009, 2:43 pm EST

On Countdown with Keith Olbermann Friday night, there was some lady who said MJ wasn’t the biological father of the 3 kids. First time I had heard that.

New | 6/29/2009, 2:53 pm EST

Well then I guess the same could be said about Mariah Carey, that whoever her father was wasn’t her biological dad cause she looks mainly white. And it doesn’t matter if Michael was or wasn’t, point is those kids were raised with him, and they should go to his mother (as long as the scumbag Joe keeps away from them). And I seriously don’t know how the unknown surrogate of the third kid could come forward and try to claim the kid. What’s the point of being a surrogate? As long the kids aren’t being hurt in any way with the Jacksons, the mothers who previously gave up their rights can’t all of a sudden try to reclaim them. The next time you’re being paid to have someone’s baby, think long and hard about your decision, cause in normal circumstances it’s an irreversible decision.

None of the children are his, he had them made for him. May God have mercy of his soul and of these three ready made kids that do not know real kinship and will be tossed here and there. I hope someone close to them realizes they will forever need psychological assistance not to turn into God knows what….

The comments above are cruel and absurd. The only concern one can easily spot are the unusual duplicate Prince Michael names, which must have been missed by California’s registrar as the state has some very good child protection laws. Generally odd children’s names are not permitted. Perhaps it slipped by because the system is not set up to pick up on duplicate names. Either way, it is a prolem that can be easily remedied. The children have been cared for and will be cared for by exceptional people who love them.

EMERGENCY! EMERGENCY! EMERGENCY!

George W. Bush continuously criminally stalked Margie Schoedinger to the point that she could not get away from it, and she committed suicide in desperation to escape: he murdered her.

“In her suit, Margie Schoedinger states that George W. Bush committed sexual crimes against her, organized harassment and moral pressure on her, her family members and close relatives and friends. As Schoedinger said, she was strongly recommended to keep her mouth shut. . . . Furthermore, she alleges that George Bush ordered to show pressure on her to the point, when she commits suicide” (blog of drizzten).

“One of those ‘very leasts’ [was] George Bush’s personal complicity in the death (murder to be precise) of my friend Margie Schoedinger in September of 2003. Determining the exact whereabouts and contacts of [then] president-elect George Bush on September 21 thru 22, 2003, should be entirely lacking in difficulty” (Leola McConnell—Nevada Progressive Democratic Candidate for U.S. Senate in 2010).

McConnell is correct: Bush applying pressure (continuously criminally stalking Margie Schoedinger) purposefully to force Schoedinger to commit suicide does in fact constitute murder where it culminated in her death.

Bush is a racist hate criminal and hates black people (please feel free to see my “GEORGE W. BUSH IS THE WORST PRESIDENT IN U.S. HISTORY” blog). (Schoedinger was an African-American woman.)

BEWARE: If the president of the United States hates one—for whatever reasons—he can continuously criminally stalk one to the point that one cannot get away from it, and one ultimately commits suicide in desperation to escape. He can murder people in this way.

Bush is getting away with his murder of Schoedinger—with no sheriff, prosecutor, or court willing to uphold the rule of law.

Bush’s method of murdering Schoedinger cannot exist in a vacuum: he must have murdered other people in the same way.

Bush should confess, come out with the names of all of the people whom he murdered in the disgusting way he murdered Schoedinger, undergo execution, and accordingly find himself at the intersection where he would be free.

(There are thousands of copies of the information above on the Internet. It exists very extensively in all major search engines. Please feel free to go to any major search engine, type “George W. Bush continuously criminally stalked Margie Schoedinger to the point that she could not get away from it, and she committed suicide in desperation to escape: he murdered her” or “Bush applying pressure (continuously criminally stalking Margie Schoedinger) purposefully to force Schoedinger to commit suicide does in fact constitute murder where it culminated in her death,” hit “Enter,” and find innumerable results.)

you’re a paranoid nut.

what does your article have to do with Michael Jackson?

Angel | 6/30/2009, 6:13 am EST

I feel so much for these children. They are going to suffer big time and are going to need alot of help all through their lives. I wish them all the very best and would like nothing more than to see them as happy children and adults later on in life.

NJ | 6/30/2009, 11:35 am EST

There is no way those children share any of Michael Jackson’s DNA. Given the miserable job Michael Jackson’s parents did parenting their own children I pray that they are not granted custody of these three innocent victims. Michael Jackson may have been a talented muscian but he was also seriously mentally ill.

Intel | 6/30/2009, 2:08 pm EST

@ NJ:
And I pray that you stop talking out of your ass, cause it’s obvious you’re the one that’s mentally ill. What do you know about Michael’s mental state or parenting skills? I think you should working with his lawyers, cause you seem to have info that nobody else does.

Give michael jackson his last wishes that are stated in his will.I met him back in 1989 at a free charity concert in vabeach, va. He was a real nice man,I was the only one left there with him and his security guard and his security guard did not want for him to talk to me but he told his security guard that it was okay and michael talked to me. He asked me,if I knew who he was and I told him yes ,I did know who he was and he thought and said that ,I was different because ,I was treating like a normal person not a famous person and, I was not acting foolish like the rest of his fans and he liked and enjoyed being treated that way for a change at least that is what he told me before heandhissecurity guard left and I left a few minutes later. That was and is a very special memory of him that,I will keep in my mind and heart until,I die.

Thanks Michael Jackson ,Ps I hope that your family and friends and coworker’s read this to know how much you cared about every day normal people, not just famous people. You didn’t have to even give me a minute of your time but you gave me about 20 minutes of it instead.I apperciate it and I was glad to tell you so,Iam very thankful for that time you gave to me and I was even more thankful tobe able toexpress that to you while you were alive before we departed from each other that night, your security guard thought we were probably a little crazy to be even talking to each other but now may be he remebers this also.
