Going to be a good one, but lets not get ridiculous. Besides, we have heard Joy, TTE, KDF, STFFP, Ocelot, so its mostly out there.

not so sure about “best album ever,” but it will be very very fun. ocelot, number line, alaska kill devil fall, faulty plan (i’m leaving out a few here, but can’t remember all of the others) were all rockers this tour…the jones beach ocelot has been on my repeat for weeks now, and kill devil falls seems to be a major jam vehicle for the band. number line is dripping with sentiment, and alaska is a happy tune they all seem to dig on… and you can tell they are all feeling it after a much needed break. here’s to 20 more great years with our best friends.

Just go the the shows. I went to 5 shows. Except for Asheville, people were practically giving away tickets. Some did just give them away.

The tour was great. I’m sure the album is great. Some of the phans, I’m not so sure about. After almost 5 years of waiting for the reunion, I see and hear so much negativity it makes me almost sad. Phish is one of the top 5 live bands ever and I hope they continue to be for many years. Enjoy yourself. It’s only music.

im not sure why everyone is hating on phish right now…im excited for this album and excited to see phish touring for hopefully years to come.

anyone who is a true fan and or has seen the band perform these songs over this past tour knows this album will be a rockin gift from the gods. glad lillywhite is back in the mix. thrilled phish is back.

I hope everybody hates Phish, so I can go to the smallest venue possible. INCREDIBLE live band, INCREDIBLE musicians. please!!! Nobody buy tickets. Be happy with the Goo Goo Dolls and Green Day, they are sooooo great. Hope I can get back to losing my mind at The Living Room, The Orpheum, The Paradise, or anything even close to that size. Phish heads…. shhhhhhhh…. let’s keep this to ourselves ok?

The only ‘Joy’ around here was the rigor mortis I felt in my pants as I moonwalked to the other side of the river.

Tons of crappy garage bands play from midnight until the sun comes up. Taylor Swift plays to undreds of thousands of people too. Popularity and stamina does not equal quality.

Umphrey’s mcgee, when its all said and done is a much better band and performers than phish . Sad but true ..deal with it smelly hippies.

Been to several Phish shows this year and they are back, big time. Can’t wait for this new CD. “Joy” is the perfect title. My favorite band is back!!

And yes, Umphrey’s is very good, too. Been into them for years, especially Anchor Drops which EVERYONE should own a copy of.

But they’re not on Phish’s level. Maybe someday:)

I saw both my first Phish and Umphreys shows this year and I also have seen The Who, Grateful Dead, DMB, Pearl Jam, Yes, Ramones, the Boss, and others, and Phish were a lot better than Umphreys and one of the best shows I have ever been to and I am looking forward to a few more this summer.

Panic rules, fuck phish and phisheads.

They are almost as good as the Mars Volta, securely in 2nd among jam bands.

Okay…obviously phish is more talented than umphreys…now dont get me wrong umphreys is one of my favorite bands in this time along with the tribe…but phish is a classic and always will be. if you like umphreys and you dont like phish you obviously dont understand music. oh and anchor drops is not their best album. if you want to hear umphreys download a live show its the only way to go

Umphrey’s seemed like they were about to emerge as the most talented, new and fresh thing out there until Phish got back together and now it’s like they’re somewhere between forgotten and an afterthought. And “local band does ok” is way better than anchor drops.

“Joy”…it’s a smoker…solid and in my opinion the best studio work they’ve done since Billy Breathes…

Overrated? Why, then, does every review of the new album talk a bunch of sh** about the band? And c’mon, comparing Taylor Swift to Phish? That’s like comparing Brittany Spears to Led Zeppelin. Long live the Phish!
