Actually, I am strongly considering picking up a subscription to RS, since you’re actually covering these guys with a reasonable POV. I’m nearly 30. I love the Jonas Brothers, and I appreciate the way you cover them. It’s nice to see you cover what’s actually happening in music NOW, on all levels, instead of what happened in the 60s-70s, and what’s more or less continuing to copy those eras. I appreciate that stuff, and lots of other music, but acts don’t often excite me, and I think the Jonas Brothers deserve to be investigated as you do. I hope you continue to attract more readers with a broader view, to make up for any loss of closed-minded fuddy duddies.

First off, Taylor Swift is a joke. All her songs sound the same, her voice cracks and she can’t carry a tune unless it’s doctored in the studio. She wrote a song about him, badmouthed him everywhere.

I am 19 and a big fan of The Jonas Brothers and no I am not one of those teenie-boppers, I grew up loving Kid Rock and The Beatles my mom played Poison and Pantera when she was pregnant with me, but I am not the kind of person to stick to one type of music.

Well, I normally don’t say anything on bloggs. But, My thinking is this. Taylor has always written (her own, by the way) songs about her life experiences. Joe Jonas just happens to be 1 of those experiences, no names mentioned, no need to (shows class). I’ve watched the Jonas Brothers on Disney with my kids. I don’t know how the older one sings but I have to admit the younger brother seems to be the one with the great vocals. Everybody knows that BOTH acts are maturing (mainly JB) and are getting more fans. The Jonas Brothers aren’t falling, they’re still rising.If you think stars don’t have some bad albums or go into hiding atleast once in their career, you’re horifically wrong. Michael Jackson, Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears and that’s just to name a few. What will Taylor be singing when she’s 25? Songs like “You Belong With Me” just won’t cut it. Also, be expecting a new look from her soon and songs like “Dirty.” Then maybe her fame will resurface. Bizarre to think she’s even famous. Better than Miley Cyrus, I’ll give her that. Rolling Stone is covering this because they can’t always use the beatles, you have to realize that.

Taylor Swift is a “star” because her parents bought her a career. And that’s coming from a guitarist friend who’s known her since the month she moved to Nashville. That said, once she got it, I think she’s kept it on her own. I used to like Taylor but she made this breakup way too big of a deal. You can’t complain on how long the conversation is if YOU are the one to hang up the phone. To all the people who said he needed to wait until they were face to face, Joe was on tour so it would have been a long time until he could do it in person. I really hate it when people start defending taylor because she was the one who was really immature about the whole thing. She was bashing Joe in every interview and even made a stupid video on youtube that really showed how she needs to grow up. It just so happened that taylor’s album came out right after the breakup so she had the chance to write a stupid song about it…Joe wasn’t holding on to this because he probably wrote his song the same time taylor did but his album wasn’t any where close to releasing because they had just released A Little Bit Longer. Taylor needs to get over her whiny bitchy self and stop being so rude towards Joe-he is way better off without her anyway.

Personally, I hate Joe Jonas. I am like the biggest Taylor Swift fan, so I support what she says. She is NOT the one who ended the call, he is. She didn’t do anything wrong. And I don’t blame her for writing a song about it. That’s how she deals with it. Everyone deals with a breakup differently. Some cry all day and pout, some take it out on anyone they can find! She writes songs. I’m not saying that it’s wrong for what Joe did, but it’s already been almost a year! Gosh. Nobody knows the whole story, and everyone talks about how much of a jerk joe was, and how taylor made a big deal about it, honestly if joe broke up with her in person would you still hate him, or if taylor didn’t make such a big deal would you still hate her, we’re judging them on there choices in life, they are not perfect people, they will make mistakes. When we make mistakes most of us have friends and family to confort us and forgive us and we learn and move on, but when they make mistakes they get millions of people bashing them, let them live there lives and learn from their mistakes, let them make there own choices, we can’t make their desisions for them, whether we like there choices are not we can’t judge them and hate them because they aren’t living their life the way we want them too. We need to support them when they need it, not bring them down. They are still people just like us.

His song ‘Much Better’ sounds stupid now that the girl who’s ‘much better’ than Taylor dumped him. Seriously we shouldn’t get involved in an argument over the break up though, Taylor and Joe both do great concerts. I just happen to Love Taylor Swift because she’s like Uber-awesome. I personally am on Taylor Swifts side. I do not hate Joe Jonas but she was kind of nicer about it. His song was harsher, and his line ‘i’m done with country stars’ was a little rude. I like forever and always better as a song also… sorry joe…
