The only group that has toured EVERY single year since 1991 still banks $45 million. Unbelievable. Go DMB, by far the most talented band of all these on here. If they toured say every three years, there wouldn’t be a venue big enough to house all the people coming.

Springsteen made 70 million, yet he can come around singing about hard times and talking about the greed of the corporate world etc., while charging exorbitant ticket prices. I’ve always been a fan but I’m realizing how hypocritical he is.

Coldplay is the most fan friendly band on here, seats were only $34 to their show two weeks ago and they gave away a free live cd to everyone in attendance, they also had 2 satellite stages in the middle of the crowd so it felt more intimate. Great band, much more to come from them.

Yeah, Madonna is an absolutely terrible artist. Whoever said she’s a role model is terribly, terribly wrong. She changes her religion every 2 minutes, and she sleeps around to get her way in the business. All the banbs are pretty bad except for Springsteen and AC/DC. Their live shows are absolutely jaw-dropping.

Madonna is the top act because she PUTS ON A SHOW. Regardless of whether you like her or not, she is undoubtedly one of the best live acts of all time. Fuck guitars, Madonna is pure theater.

Bruce is really the top earner. If he charged the prices Madonna or Celine Dion does he would easliy be top of the list. His top ticket is $98 and every show is sold out. When Madonna played the Izod Center tickets were two for one the day of the show.

Madonna’s music may suck but she is an absolutely amazing performer. I saw her in San Diego, thanks to my wife. I was amazed how much talent she actually has. Now, if she can only apply that talent to making good music!

It’s incredible how after 26 years Madonna is still on top of her game selling millions of albums, packing soldout stadiums, and making more money then ever. She is incredibly talented and it’s no wonder she is one the richest women in the world with a networth of alsmost a billion USD!

No duh women topped the list. In every aspect, woman have the ability to earn more than men. It’s just general. Madonna is the Queen because she can charge crazy prices and her fans will still eat it it. She must have the most devoted fan base of any star.

To the person who was from Brazil and saw her live, the whole stadium waited with baited breath. Madonna hasn’t toured Latin America in over 15 years until the Sticky and Sweet Tour rolled through. The shows were absolutely amazing! She sang AND Danced her heart out for over two hours never missing a beat! You must have been in the wrong show of having a really bad day, because every Latin show was a sold out stadium with over 60-80,000 fans! Sorry, but you are crazy. She may not be the best dancer, actress, singer or lyricist, but she is one hell of an entertainer. Give the girl credit. After 25 years and still around toppings lists, she must be doing something right.

Chris – I totally agree with your comment. Dave Matthews Band is the ONLY act on this list that tours every year and still pulls those kind of numbers, absolutely amazing. It speaks volumes of their loyal fanbase and the quality of their legendary live shows. I have seen over half the people on this list and I would see DMB over all of them any day, especially since their tickets run between $45-70. I couldn’t sit in the parking lot at some of the other artists shows for that cheap.
