Jonas Brothers Launch Tour With Guests Miley Cyrus, Jordin Sparks

The Jonas Brothers kicked off their massive world tour this past weekend in front of an audience 50,000 strong at Dallas’ new Cowboys Stadium. The band’s set featured a brand-new three-octagon stage and more than 100 minutes of music culled from their new album Lines, Vines and Trying Times as well as older material, but it wasn’t until the encore that fans got the biggest surprise of the evening: Miley Cyrus, who’s reportedly once again dating Nick Jonas, hit the stage and sang with Nick for their Lines’ duet “Before The Storm,” the Dallas Morning News reports.

Rumors of Miley attending the show began circulating when Cyrus Twittered “In one of my favorite cities with my favorite people. Guess where I am and what I’m doing. I will never tell” earlier that evening. The Jonas Brothers were also joined onstage by opening act Jordin Sparks, who performed her new hit single “Battlefield” with the band. The set list also included A Little Bit Longer’s “Lovebug, “SOS” and a cover of Neil Diamond’s “Sweet Caroline.”

“Putting this show together is so much different than anything we’ve ever done before,” Nick recently told Rolling Stone when we hung out with the Brothers in the days before the performance. “We tried to add some musicians, some horn players and some string players, just to fill in the space, and fill in the sound as well.” The trio also boast that the entire audience is only 30 to 90 feet away from the performers at all times, making the concert more intimate for the fans.

we went all the way to Dallas for this concert and we are from El Paso Texas, it be so awesome if they would come here!The concert out there was GREAT! Who would actually pay hard earned money to listen to this stuff? At best, it’s staged, over-indulging, bad pop music. Disney is the only reason any of them are famous, none of them have any talent, they are just pushed into the limelight by Disney and anyone can become famous if marketed right and cracked up to be what they aren’t. Their clothes don’t match, their voices are pitchy, the guitars are all the same riff over and over, and it’s plain and boring. Why not pay for some of hottest shows of the summer and get your money’s worth, check out Aerosmith, U2, Bret Michaels, Green Day… you’ll hear what rock music is supposed to be…

they give everything they have to the show, it is 100% energy for the entire performance.
The only thing that could have possibly made it better would of been a surprise Miley appearance. But,,beggars cannot be choosers

I went to this show and it was Incredible. This was my third Jonas Brothers concert and they are so Talented and put so much into their shows. Give so much to their Fans and I don’t understand how people can say they are bad. They always Amaze me and Always will. My whole Family and my Friend enjoyed the show and I can’t wait till they come back here. I was so excited when Miley came out…I had heard rumors but thought they would have brought her out at that point. I’m glad they did. She did a great job. So did Jordin with her Beautiful vioce and Honor Society was so good just as I expected. Love thier new songs. Jessie James did good too and I fraked out when Nicole Anderson came out…she’s so good at her part in JONAS.

Trust me…it’s worth it to see these guys.

i live in alaska but i traveled to dallas just to go see the opening show of the tour and it did not disappoint it was super fun and entertaining and miley coming out and singning with nick was definitely one of the best moments! and to top it off i ran into miley the next day at Dallas Galleria she is super nice =]

Okay, so here it is. I’m not really a rock fan. But i am a really big music fan. And i know what good music is, and what bad music is. Just because i’m not the biggest rock fan, doesn’t mean i don’t like rock. Aerosmith, the Beatles, Stevie Wonder, now that’s good rock. The Jonas Brothers suck. They’re not even rock, they’re pop. Not to mention, they’re also bad a pop. One day or another, you will all forget the Jonas Brothers and move to the next boy band. It happened to everyone, Backstreet Boys, NSync… And not to be offensive or anything to the fans, but at least people – even non-fans- will always remember The BackStreet Boys ‘ I Want it My Way’ or NSync’s “Tearing Up My Heart’. I’m sorry, no one will EVER remember the pathetic, ‘Burnin’ Up’ or ‘Paranoid’ songs. It seems to me, music is dying…everywhere. In rap – what happened to people like Tupac and Biggie? Now, people pay attention to ‘rappers’ (if he’s even considered one) like Soulja Boy. – to Rock, – The Beatle, Bon Jovi, Aerosmith…all kings and legends and people don’t pay attention to them, but to people like the Jonas Brothers. – to Pop, etc. What i’m saying is, it doesn’t take an idiot to figure out the Jonas Brothers suck. And i’ve tried being open-minded; i’ve listened to many songs, read many articles…but, no. It’s amazing how they’re considered ‘role models’ when all of them were homeschooled, when they all encourage fans to pay 400$ to go VIP (there’s an economy crisis, and people are worrying about saving up for a concert than to save it up for something important. Better yet, for charity.), and one of them doesn;t even know what ON stands for (Ontario, come on, its not that hard, its the fucking capital of your neighbor’s country for g-ds sake.). Not to mention, you think they’ll keep their whole purity promise until they get married? NO. They’re almost all fucking 20, they wouldn’t be able to resist the temptation. I’m sorry, you have a slut (Miley Cyrus) right in front of you, and you think Nick is not going to fuck her? You must me kidding. Besides, if they were really serious about the purity rings, they wou;dn;t have needed to wear those purity rings to show they promise not to have sex, do drugs etc. Just don’t do it. What do you need the purity ring for? Nothing. A promise is a promise. You either keep it or you don’t. The purity rings aren;t going to change anything. They’re just wearing those for attention. They’re total fakes. No talent. No good looks (i don’t see what other girls see in them). With No Life. They say they want to be normal? Then be it. Stop bringing attention to yourself. My point proven, you’re just saying that for publicity. You suck Jonas Brothers and you know it. Rolling Stones, you too, for putting them on the Cover Page – tp think i actually liked your magazine. And i don’t blame RS for this, nor Disney for this, nor the JB for that matter for this, i blame US. Because we chose to like them and if it weren;t for us, Diney would’ve gave up on them and they could’ve or could not have been a decent band without the fame. But now, we’ll never know. Good luck the Jonas Brothers- you’ll sure need it!

JustSayin and jimmyjam, you guys are out of you mind. I’m sure there were more comments from the haterz, but I only caught these two. Ok, 1) jimmyjam, Nick rocks. He has too much respect for girls to play them like that. Plus, Miley’s awful and she should go back to the underwear model nobody.
2) JustSayin, the Jonas Brothers are one of the greatest bands in history. I’d like to see you try to find a band that respects girls half as much, or cares about their fans as much, or is loving every minute of what they’re doing yet still managing to stay grounded as much. There’s your answer. You can’t. They’re famous, their music rocks, and although their music is how they’re known, they are also three (four, with Frankie who will probably grow up to be just like his big brothers) of the kindest, sweetest, most caring guys that celebrity history has ever known.

To address the Miley and Nick issue, I hope Nick comes to his senses and dumps the idiot before she hurts him. It’s MILEY, for crying out loud! Nick deserves SO much better. He’s sweet, caring, loving, creative, sensitive, driven, kind, and EXTREMELY talented. Nick, I don’t want to see you get hurt. Please just keep looking. Remember your song, “Love Is On Its Way.” “Hold on another day, cause love is on its way”, remember? Miley needs good publicity and being around you is the key! Don’t let her play you.

Whoever says they don’t have talent should really check themselves; if they werent talented then why would there music be loved all around the world, and whoever says they’re not rolmodels then they’re crazy! Those three boys are the best celebs in Hollywood! They have a great heads on their sholders and they are honest,caring,and so many other things! Purity rings are important and I also have one and it is important because it is a reminder of what you made a comitment to for your life; to yourself, you’re family and friends, but most importantly God. The Jonas Brothers are amazing artists and guys alone!! I think that whoever Nick chooses to date is his decision and we shouldn’t be critisisng him or whoever he is dating andwe should just mind our own business.

Ok, whoever JustSaying is you must be out of your mind!!! You say you know good music but you don’t the Jonas Brothers have amazing music, their music has changed my life. And also you think that people will forget the Jonas Brothers,HA! i don’t think so, they will be remembered forever! They don’t encourage fans to pay 400$ for VIP passes,the fans chose to do that because thats how much they care about the Jonas Brothers. You think that they won’t keep their promise to God,their family and mostly theirself, well your wrong they will, you think they just have the rings for show,NO! Even i have made a promise and I am not going to break that promise so I don’t think that the Jonas Brothers will either. Kevin is already 21 and you still see the ring on him and he has also been dating his girlfriend for 5 years and he still has the ring on. Nick would never do that with Miley Cyrus she might try to do something cause i think that Miley Cyrus’s ring is just for show she got her freakin nose pierced! What does that show! And some people chose to wear the rings because everytime they look down at it, it reminds them. What girls see in them is talent,heart,respect,manners,g ood looks,and whats inside. They would love to be normal but they love what they do it is their dream and they wouldnt give it up or anything. You say that they will need the help they have been doing this for about 4 years or more and they have had their ups and downs they have been through hard times but they still come out on top. Their new cd Lines,Vines,and Trying Times is #1 out of 200 other bands and solo singers i don’t think that is so bad now is it and the cd came out June 16 and it is also #1 in Canada,Spain,Brazil,Mexico,Arg entina and Central America. And it was in the top ten in the United Kingdom,Italy,Portugal,New Zealand and Ireland not so bad is it! And they have been nominated for 9 Teen Choice Awards and have won sooo many awards already that take other singers and bands years to get. So… If you ever trash talk the Jonas Brothers again just be ready for alot of people hating on you and expect me to say something about it also because if anyone hates on the Jonas Brothers that is not ok with me and i bet its not ok with the other oh i don’t know millions of other Jonas Brothers fans because they are amazing rolemodels,and i bet you tons of other people would agree with me.

I’m pretty sure you have never listened to the KINGS OF MUSIC in your life for you to say that the Jonas Brothers are the best. Sure, you had amazing arguments, don’t get me wrong, but you never had a comeback for the main argument, people consider them as G-DS OF MUSIC when they will NEVER be compared to people like Michael Jackson (king of Pop), Tupac and Biggie(kings of rapa nd hip hop), the Beatles and Elvis( kings of rock) and Bob Marley (king of Reggae). Knowing that you’re in love with the Jonas Brothers, i’m guessing that you’re a big pop/rock fan (they’re not really rock, but since you guys claim they are, i’m not going to waste my breath). Have you EVER LISTENED to The Beatles, Michael Jackson, Aerosmist etc. ? I don’t think so, and don’t lie, because its pathetic. You know i’m right, you just don;t want to prove it. And thats why, you never attacked THIS argument but all the others.
Just so you know, i am for sure NOT ‘insulting’ the Jonas Brothers just for a ‘laugh’; thats stupid, pointless and pathetic and i wouldn’t waste my time if it was because of that.
Thirdly, about your ‘purity ring argument’, you SHOULD know before you snap at me like that, that, I, too, made a promise to myself, to my family and to G-d that i’d never have sex before i’m married. And i didn’t have it yet and i’m never going to. But you have to admit, having all those fans and celebreties (Miley Cyris…) chasing after you ALL THE TIME is going to give you a BIGGER TEMPTATION than to others- which is a bigger risk. Not to mention, i NEVER pointed out ANY names. So you can’t just give arguments about them INDIVIDUALLY, if i’m being GENERAL. I am aware that Kevin has been in a relationshipm for a long time with the same girl and that he is over twenty and i am ALSO aware that you never deffended Joe AND that he wants to move out of his brothers house to be with his current girlfriend – it was Camille, was it? (i told you i tried giving them a chance by reading articles). And about the ring, i made the promise. The only thing that needs to remind you about the promise is in fact, the promise. If you need to wear a purity ring for it, then that means you didn’t make that promise full-hearted and that you didn’t do it as much for yourself or g-d, but to not dissapoint your parents or CONFESS to your parents to be more exact (which isnt necessarily a bad thing, its just not AS good.)
Fourthly, i NEVER ACCUSED of them to be BAD people. in fact, i never mentioned their personality ONCE. If you say they;re nice and caring, then, fine, i believe you. But where did you get that information from? the MEDIA. How do you know they;re not lying to you? The media does it all the time…But if you insist, i’m not going to be like “Oh no, they suck. They’re horrible. Jackasses.” If you say so, then maybe you’re right. But did you ever think that there is a POSSIBILITY you’re NOT? I didn;t think so.
And, i personally don;t like Miley Cyrus – at all (as much as i dislike the Jonas Brothers, but so what it she got her noise pierced? She’s SIXTEEN for g-ds sake, people have SEX at sixteen and you’re FREAKING OUT because she pierced her nose! I have come to the conclusion, that you JUDGE celebreties A LOT HARDER than you would judge regular people. And that’s horrible because first of all, its not good to judge AT ALL, but to judge someone because they’re FAMOUS is UNACCEPTABLE. iS THERE SOMETHING so WRONG WITH GETTING YOUR NOSE PIERCED? no! when does she have to wait to pierce it, 20? No, because you all judge Vanessa Hudgens of doing that too (i’m not a fan of hers either. Not really a Disney fan, except for some…). 25? No, because she’s still supposed to eb a role model for five-year-olds. 30? No, because she’s soon going to have kids, that is, of course, if YOU guys all think she’ll get married when she’s such a slut. Then when Bailee? When? She’s sixteen and she need to liver her life, i’m sure you’d want to do the same thing if you were her age and if you ARE or you’re OLDER, than, YOU, my friend, are the complete loser for not having a little fun and taking some risks while your life lasts. Because that’s all she wants to do.
And if you answer, i have PLENTY more arguments to come. I’m just getting started. One already in my mind, i’ll just won’t waste my breath, because i know, and you know, that deep down, i’m right.

ps. do you actually think i give a shit if people hate me because i don’t like the Jonas Brothers. THAT’S PATHETIC. YOU’RE PATHETIC.

THE JONAS BROTHERS ROCK MY SOCKS! im going to their concert a second time! im leaving vacation early to go to the concert! thats how badly i want to see them! im so excited i cant wait! the burning up tour was totally amazing so im hoping this tour is just as good if not better! im trying to find a list of the songs that theyre going to be singing on this tour, i think i have the correct list but i cant be sure. if anyone knows the exact list please let me know! thanks!
