Malawi’s highest court has ruled that Madonna can adopt her second child from the African nation, stating the Queen of Pop has a genuine interest in helping the country’s orphans and that the four-year-old girl in question, Chifundo “Mercy” James, would have a better life with the star. Madonna told her lawyer she was “excited” by the decision, the BBC reports, which was an appeal she filed in April after being told she had to establish residency in Malawi for 18 months in order to adopt Mercy. Madonna adopted David Banda from Malawi in 2006 and faced a firestorm of criticism when the boy’s father stepped forward to protest. She founded the charity Raising Malawi in 2006 to aid the country’s orphans living in poverty, and produced the 2008 documentary I Am Because We Are, which documents the harsh conditions parentless children — many of whom suffer from HIV or AIDS — endure there.

Congrats once again to Our Beautiful Lady Rebel Queen Madonna. You have given Mercy a chance at a good life through your beautiful art songs. Your Bugs Bunny era may come to a brilliant close but you have the rest of your artful life ahead of you. As I’ve watched you morph from a Material Girl to a grande dame
Confessional Dancefloor Evita, your music has given me so much joy in my life. Lady Madonna,
Thank You for the Music because as you have said, you are a work of art. Rock Hard, Lady Detroit Sister!

it seems Madonna has evolutionised from Marilyn wanna be to Wacko Jacko there is another Humanitarian in the Music industry. Hey lets give her the benefit of the doubt she is giving a lot of her funds to Malawi and my being in Afrca i know what its like to live here and i have seen opharns and how hard they it find to fend for themselves even in arphanages.
Those two kids have now found a home hey that even i ‘Soul Vers’ would not mind having.
Human right or what ever action people want to take Malawi is benefiting from this deal too, so people lets look at the good side.
CAN we call that a trade give Malawi something and i take two children uhmm that is why they are there waiting to be adopted and is it because its Madonna that everyone even me is saying something….

Hey; it’s one less underpriviledged child that now can have a great chance at life. I think she’s sincere about adopting Malawian orphans. Good on her and to hell with everyone else who doesn’t like her adopting kids, or whatever.
