What a shame… I’ve just gotten into “Miseducation” and her power and honesty is simply astounding. It’s so sad that such a wonderfully talented and gifted woman is falling by the wayside, looking more and more unlikely to recover with each new story of her erratic behavior.

Forget about the Miseducation album for a moment. Did you ever get any grammar education? Learn to write a sentence. What exactly are you trying to say? So she put out a good album over a decade ago. Does this mean you’re a lock to support everything she does in the future sight-unseen? If I were a fan, I’d feel quite let down by now and move on to another performer who still has something to say.

I thought the whole downfall of Ms Hill came when she failed to properly give credit to others who wrote the songs on that grammy winning album. Is that true?

Lauryn is one of the best artists to ever come out of NJ and God given talent like that does NOT disappear. She will be 78 years old and still able to spit a bar full of truth wit ease. But her erratic and mysterious behavior does worry me, canceling entire tour and such. I think a good therapist is needed; not saying that she is crazy but something is going on and whatever it is needs to be dealt wit so I can get some good rapping/singing wit meaning and not this ’swag’ crap. She has a family now, 5 kids, and having to raise them is understandable but I NEED some new material. Miseducation is a classic and still to this day 11 years later just as good as it was when it was first released. Lauryn Hill fan til I D-I-E.

Peace and blessings everyone! I normally never write a blog, but I had to respond to this about Lauryn Hill. After doing some research, I was informed that one of the possible reasons why she went on hiatus, was b/c she was very heartbroken after the person she was with for many years left her. (Like many of us who lose the one we love..we can get really down and out.) So If the world could just have compassion and walk in Love and break down anyone. She has children and maybe she wanted to spend time with them and focus all her love and attention to them. She is a talented artist and whether she comes out with more music or not…at least we can appreciate her previous music and wish her the best of luck in all her endeavors and in raising her children and may she find the love of her life again..if she has not already done so. be Blessed everyone.

I hope and pray all is well with her and whatever she’s going thru comes to a good end soon, so she can continue with her career… its bin a while and forever since i heard music like hers.

Lauryn is more than just a woman she is the”one”

Please this woman is going through a lot and a lot of women allow them selves do so. Stop trying to act like people are perfect, we all have issues, only thing is we dont have to go through them in the public eye. It is eaasy to find fault in others while people playing like they are so perfect, pray for every one and stop hating on other people. Lauryn Hill was young when she started in this business, beside the woman is only 34 right now. She make look like hell on this peicture, but I am sure she can look better when she choose to do so.
