Readers’ Rock List: Pearl Jam Songs

Last week, to celebrate Pearl Jam’s forthcoming album Backspacer and the band’s performance of new song “Got Some” on The Tonight Show With Conan O’Brien, we asked our readers for their favorite songs by the Seattle quintet. We’ve tallied the votes, and of the three Ten songs that finished in the Top Three of the poll, the band’s triumphant “Alive” was voted the Readers’ favorite, beating out tracks spanning the band’s entire catalog. Not a bad a list, but where are the other No Code songs? In My Tree, Who You Are, Sometimes? All brilliant.

Pretty solid list.

But as Tim (below) feels about No Code, I feel about Yield. I love Given to Fly, but above that I would put No Way, Pilate, In Hiding, or Faithfull. Do The Evolution is in a good spot.

it’s a pretty good list, personally i like around the bend, corduroy, and elderly woman… can’t wait for the new album!

Agreed Corduroy should be there as should many others. In my opinion pretty much all of No Code should be on there (Sometimes is one of the best under 2.5 minutesongs ever!) as should be Yield

Fair list.. but I would love to see Oceans, Immortality & Daughter on that list.

I’am really surprised that Even Flow is not on the list?

PJ fans wouldnt vote for Corderoy or Even Flow because they are over played. That being said…I believe they are their best songs.
