• American gasped as Eminem became the butt of a Brüno stunt at the MTV Movie Awards. Slim Shady admitted he laughed uncontrollably for three hours after getting a face full of Sacha Baron Cohen. Em also shared the stage with Jay-Z, taught Jimmy Kimmel to rap and topped the charts.

• Rock Daily was at E3 as Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr introduced The Beatles: Rock Band, rocked out to Guitar Hero 5, tested out DJ Hero and scratched our heads after learning Mike Anthony and Sammy Hagar were absent from Guitar Hero: Van Halen.
• Speaking of Van Halen, former bandmates Eddie Van Halen and Mike Anthony engaged in a war of words after Eddie claimed that Anthony quit the band. Anthony responded by saying Eddie forced him out of VH for spending too much time with former singer Sammy Hagar. All this bickering had us reminiscing about happier VH times.
• We hit up Mountain Jam, caught Phish bust out rarities at their reunion opener in Boston, witnessed the Black Star reunion featuring Mos Def and Talib Kweli and wished we were there for the Killers’ Brandon Flowers’ brief tenure as E Street singer during Bruce Springsteen’s Pinkpop set.
