- Aerosmith are the subject of an A&E Biography episode airing tomorrow, June 4th. Steven Tyler declined to be interviewed for the short doc, Blabbermouth reports, but the band’s former manager Tim Collins participated, as did Joe Perry and Brad Whitford.
- Cher has filed a lawsuit against Universal Music Group claiming the label owes her money due to accounting mistakes related to 1999 comp Cher The Greatest Hits and 2002’s The Very Best of Cher, Reuters reports.
- When Nas failed to show up at a Canadian show in Newfoundland on May 28th, the crowd nearly rioted, leading to several arrests, according to Billboard. Nas attributed his absence to the show’s “insufficient funds.”
- Web users are putting in fewer hours on MySpace, according to Billboard. New Nielsen Online stats unsurprisingly indicate Twitter and Facebook have exploded, while total minutes spent on MySpace, where many bands host their music, fell 31 percent. MySpace is still Number One in terms of videos viewed on social networks.
