Readers’ Rock List: Holiday Songs

To celebrate Memorial Day, Friday’s Rock List was dedicated to Holiday Songs. After tallying the votes, which featured both “Holiday” and actual holidays in the song titles, John Lennon’s timeless ode for peace during the Vietnam War “Happy Xmas (War is Over)” claimed the most readers’ votes, edging out festive-themed tracks by the Dead Kennedys, Bruce Springsteen, Weezer and Madonna.
