In Covent Garden, London on Monday 18th May they’re setting up a ‘Relapse Centre’ where you can go and listen to the new album in an hospital themed environment. With stuff like Eminem lookalikes, nurses handing out fake blood test tubes and surgeons giving head and shoulder massages.
It’s on 8am-8pm

the new songs sound exactly like everything else he has put out. He was original and fresh at first, but now it’s just played out. He’s still infinitely better than 50 Cent.

People are always so quick to rail on Eminem. They need to separate their distaste for the controversy he always conjures up from the actual quality of his music. It’s not easy writing a rap song that is deeply personal. Nor is it easy to rise to prominence in spite of everyone’s (and especially the black rap community’s) skepticism. Public Enemy and Dr. Dre certainly have been an influence on Kongcrete. And their respect is not easy to earn.

i could care less about crap…i mean rap but ive always thought eminem was pretty unique simply cuz he doesnt just corner himself with songs about making money, partys and whores like most rappers do. he actually talks about his personal life which is something most rappers dont do.

Stop and think—-he comunicates the poetry of hate. I’d say we really have neough of that going around without m&M’s 2 cents worth. Doesn’t take much to spread hate. he needs to heal up and move on. Plus, seeing him flip the bird is a worn out and trite image. He has used his 15 minutes.

Haha Rich CT, are you serious? You may not like him because you don’t like rap, you may not like his obscene lyrics, and you may not like his antics as a public figure, but he’s very talented. I don’t even like rap and I acknowledge that he’s one of the most talented lyricists since the early 1990s, both in rhymes and in depth of his material.

3am is actually a terrible track. He has alright songs. I don’t think that 3am was a good choice for a single, besides that fact that it brings the shock factor that people in this sick world respond to.

Granted, I’m not a fan of his latest singles (We Made You, 3AM) but to say he’s untalented is going a bit far. He’s proven that he is the farthest thing from untalented. Unlike 98% of today’s rappers, he doesn’t talk about how much money, cars, women and jewelry he has. He talks about real stuff that people can relate to, his imperfect personal life, his unideal childhood and the downsides of success. Even when he’s not serious, he still manages to avoid going the same route from other rappers. How many rappers do you know use thought-provoking comedy in their music? Kanye West certainly would not be creative enough to do so, no matter how much he believes he’s the greatest thing to happen to music. And Em doesn’t pretend to be from the streets, he IS from the streets. There’s no Vanilla Ice pretentiousness. He doesn’t lie about having a criminal record to make himself seem “gangsta”, either (I’m talking to you, Rick Ross and Akon). Another thing that bothers me is that a lot of people forget Lose Yourself was the first rap song to win an Oscar (and rightfully so), instead they give Three 6 Mafia (It’s Hard Out Here For A Pimp) that credit. Well where are they now?

I just watched “3 AM” What a piece of crap. A Horror movie, with a druggie as the star cutting people up- lovely role model for teenagers, whose brothers, fathers and and friends are dying for real in Iraq and Afghanistan. This shit deserves to played at 3:00 AM, or not at all.

RELAPSE TOMORROW! The King is Back!

I’ve listened to his whole album and I gotta say hand’s down it’s going to be the best album for 3 years straight unless he comes out with another one within those 3 years. Relapse is distorted, inhuman, mind-bogling, just plain sick. But at the same time it’s very detailed, vivid, and imaginative. When listening to the album it makes me feel a bit under the influence of some type of psychodelic drug. I have to give this song an 8 but the album overall is a 10. When it drops everyone has to buy it cause it is what I call a classic.

eminem is one of the best rappers of all time people saying that singers are more talented when they have there voice enhanced. you kidding me, he’s a lyrcist, producer, actor and has his own music label and clothing line.

The sad part is rap music and creative lyrics have taken such a dive the industry needed a cd like this to help bring music back. This flashy little make up a dance to sell a cd and make up funny words to make a song popular only encourages ignorance in the streets now anyone with half a brain wouldn’t cut people up and kid nap people which is way this cd is so great it tells a story. so go listen to your talentless lil wayne, and nelly or whoever the hell you think is the newest thug in the street with the hottest videos and dancers in the backround or start listening to real music.

This is to Dave. Just wanted to say that I grew up listening to Eminem as a teenager. I joined the Air Force at 19 and will be going to Afghanistan in 3 months. Mature people can take responsibility for their own actions. And at least now I have a new album to listen to while I’m in Afghanistan.
