They NEED to include both Sammy and Dave songs in this game!! The Gary era can be forgotten but Sammy & Dave are great as the singers for VH. If its a greatest hits then it must include some Hagar stuff.

I’m a fan of R.E.M. as well, but I don’t think their catalogue has enough “hits” to carry an entire game. Non-R.E.M. fans would know “Losing My Religion”. “It’s the End of the World”, “Shiny Happy People”, “The One I Love”, “Man on the Moon” and not many others.

Remember, these games are supposed to appeal to the masses, not just a few thousand people. That’s what downloadable content is for.

Michael Anthony should be in GHVH, as well as Hagar.

I understand that Van Halen is moving forward. With a release like this how could they just ignore the great songs they made with Hagar? 5150 is packed full of great songs alone! This would be a much richer and more comprehensive experience if they could swallow some pride.

It’s nothing short of wrong to leave out Sammy Hagar. Sammy had all of VH’s #1 albums, how can you gloss that over? It’s hard to argue that Dave was the better frontman, but Sammy was (and still is) the better singer of the two. It’s a shame he’s being excluded, they really could’ve done some cool things with 2 lead singers.

I’d kill for a Guitar Hero edition like they did with the 80s, but with 90s Grunge like Nirvana,Pearl Jam, STP, Rage Against the Machine, etc.

If your a true VH fan you would want both singers on this game, of course most of us prefer Roth but sammy is pretty good too and made VH go to the next lvl. He made VH get 3 number ones and Roth never did that while he was in the band.

I do agree that Hagar was really good and turned VH in a new direction but Roth did give them their only #1 hit, Jump. Which btw should be in this game, along with runnin with the devil.

Bon Jovi! alot of hits and their music fits perfectly on the game. All the haters can frown now, but until you actually listen to the songs not released on radio don’t judge.

I used to really love Van Halen, but in the last few years Eddie has lost his mind. The only reason Sammy and Mike are not in the game is so he does not have to pay them royalties. Van Halen are a great band and there should be Sammy Hagar tracks in there, 5150 and For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge were big parts of my youth. I am disappointed that there will only be 25 tracks, but the additional artists look great.

Definitely Mike should be added since he was one of the cornerstone piece for the whole Van Halen/Van Hagar saga. Sammy added so many hits. How can you leave out those two? Van Halen has so many hits, it would be fantastic to have 2 games: one for Dave era, one for Sammy era.

I would love to see a GH: Bon Jovi GH: Journey and a GH: Rush. They have great fun songs that span 2 generations.

GUITAR HERO SLIPKNOT WOULD BE AWSOM

VH is VH no matter who’s in the lineup. Great music was made with ALL members of the band regardless of the era. Sammy, Mike & Gary should be included no matter of the past. As a fan of ALL eras, I’d be very disappointed if everybody wasn’t included

some of these band suggestions are just plain dumb. You’d need at least 25 hits to make a GH game. Possibilities would include:

AC/DC
Led Zeppelin
Queen
Pearl Jam
Red Hot Chili Peppers
The Rolling Stones
U2 (I wouldn’t buy it)

Sublime? Slipknot? Stone Temple Pilots? Audioslave? Are you serious? I like Barenaked Ladies but I’m not deluded into thinking they should be on Guitar Hero.
