- Eminem took to his Twitter last night to tell fans he’ll be appearing on his Sirius XM radio station tomorrow — and fans should expect some surprises. Yesterday Em used his Twitter to reveal the pill-powered artwork for his new album Relapse.
- Nearly 40 years to the day that he opened the 1969 Woodstock Festival, Richie Havens will return to Bethel, New York, on August 14th to perform “Freedom” at a media-only event to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the landmark fest. Havens was slated to perform fifth at Woodstock, but opened the fest on August 15th, 1969.
- A judge denied Lil Wayne’s request to block an upcoming documentary about the Carter III rapper, siding with film’s producers, who include Quincy Jones III. According to Variety, Wayne claimed he was not provided rights of approval over the content of the film, which was an official selection at this year’s Sundance Festival.
- The Jonas Brothers will take a break from their world tour this summer to host and perform at August 10th’s Teen Choice Awards, which will air on Fox. Yesterday the band revealed their Lines, Vines And Trying Times album cover.
