- Nickelback were the big winners at Canada’s Juno Awards, taking home three trophies including Group of the Year and Album of the Year for Dark Horse, according to the Vancouver Sun. Toronto’s Kardinal Offishall won the ceremony’s two rap awards and the Stills — who already have three albums under their belt — won the confusing New Group of the Year award. Coldplay’s Viva La Vida was awarded International Album of the Year.
- In other award show news, Miley Cyrus, the Jonas Brothers, Beyoncé’s “Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It)” and the High School Musical 3 crew were winners at Nickelodeon’s Kids Choice Awards. American Idol was voted Favorite Reality Show and Guitar Hero: World Tour was named Favorite Video Game, the AP reports.
- The refurbished Wolfmother are offering fans a taste of their second album with a free download of their new song “Back Round.” Grab the track over at the band’s official Website.
- Radiohead, the Kings of Leon and the Arctic Monkeys have been recruited to headline the U.K.’s Reading and Leeds Festivals, according to their official Websites. The fests will take place August 28th-30th. The remainder of the lineup will be announced tonight.
