The problem with real boys from the street like TI is that even when they get to the top and they want to leave that life behind them, sometimes it won’t let them. TI’s old life on the street was catching up to his new one in the Hills, he only had the guns for protection. The problem is, being that he was a former crack dealer who had served time in a federal prison, he was not allowed to possess the weapons that he did at the time of his arrest. My guess is that you are just some rich ass white boy who can’t comprehend the idea that someone can change and that maybe circumstances can make an otherwise good person look bad.

Let’s say that we had the same charges, what kind of sentence would you get? Even after doing the community service, that is if you are able to get out of the jail while in waiting for your trial, do you think that it would be the same for you? There are things that I do agree about, is that music is inspirational, but there is not just one source of that inspiration. Can u tell me how many RAP songs today that are not about the following; bitches and switches and hoes and clothes and weed? All they are doing is making you want to be like them by pushing the product that is making the video or the CD for them. Just look inside the album cover to what t-shirts, hats, and other items you can get for some random amount of money. Also, how many times can you use the same beat? But I have heard some songs that have changed my life for the better. Leave the man alone and let him do his time, get out and go on with his life! T.I. should have to spend time in prison just like all the other people that have been caught with illegal weaponry, but I also believe that it should not be taken to extremes just because of his social status. I believe it is arrogant to say that he shouldn’t go to prison at all, but it is also arrogant to punish him with extremes just to send a message to the people. T.I. has definantly becomea better man and has earned respect from others, but this does not mean he should walk free without consequence and I also believe T.I. understands the law and is taking responsibility for his own actions.
