after going through this same process we went to ticketmaster and had to purchase another membership to be able to buy immediately. Had to satisfy the little one, who skipped school to make sure we got her the tickets. I’m looking for a refund from the original membership purchase. Why can’t we buy tickets from one place where servers can handle an influx of hits???

How much are these tickets, if you buy them pre-sale through the fan club?

Took me over 2 hours but I finally go my daughter tickets. However while constantly being kicked out of the flooded site I decided to check ebay to see how the scalpers had fared. For my town there were tickets ranging from $999 to over $5000. On Stubhub there were over 71 tickets available from $98 a ticket to $500 a ticket. I won’t be renewing my membership for my daughter, nor will I be buying her tickets to another Jonas Brothers concert again. This will be the first and last.

You think they’d have learned from the EXACT same thing happening last year at this time… site crashes, can’t get codes, angry fans. Why couldn’t they release our unique codes earlier, you’d still have to wait for the ticketmaster site presale time. I don’t get it. I tried for 2 hours and (as you predicted) ended up with upperdeck, nosebleed seats literally against the back wall. Wouldn’t you think they’d offer their paying fanclub members the best seats in the house?? And, why are there some awesome seats readily available on ebay/stubhub/etc. So unfair.

Most of us who went through this multiple times last year knew to go straight to Ticketmaster or the venue and buy a fan club bundle and to get reimbursed by Team Jonas later. I feel bad for the rest of the fans who didn’t know and who the server failed on but I’m not gonna lie that I appreciated the time and server space it bought me…I had 3rd row tickets by 10:05.

Team Jonas just needs a more realistic way to dispense presale codes. And if they just sold tickets with names on them and required ID at venues it would solve a lot of these issues…and scalping problem.

Had one computer and 3 laptops going but STILL could not get in.Joined fan club last week to avoid all of this—–still have no tix.So upset..did not go to school today…..want to see the solution…hope I get good seats…IF there are any left…feel like crying……

Wow I feel really lucky then. I was able to nab 4 tickets for my daughter this morning right at 10:15 CST for the Omaha Show. Good seats too 1S row 17 not sure you get much better then that and for a 9th Birthday Present I am sure it will be something she remembers for a long time. But it was more nerve racking then seeing if you matched all 7 lotto numbers.

From what I hear, the artist only get a realtively small percentage of the seats to sell through their fanclub; they don’t get all of the best seats but a range through the venue.

A lot of ticket resellers like Stubhub get their premium tickets directly from TicketMaster in order to sell them for drastic, insane prices and in turn give a cut back to Ticketmaster.

Trent Reznor from NIN has written a bit about this…it is a struggle for even more established artists to overcome this system that leaves fans pretty out of luck for the best seats, no matter HOW fast you get through.

The nasty practices are mostly Ticketmaster’s, from what I am told?

Team Jonas is trying to do right by the fans they just haven’t figured out how to manage it well. At all.

I got really lucky with my presale. I couldnt get the code because the sight was frozen, so I had to buy an additional membership from the bundle, but I got 7th row, the 2 seats right next to the runway. so basically front row seats! couldnt be more excited!

Totally frustrated with this process. Renewed my membership on JB’s fanclub last night so i could get my daughter and 3 others tickets first thing this morning. Could not get on to get acess codes and finally had to purchase another membership as well but waisted alot of time in the process and ended up with tickets that i did not want. Ticketmaster was not showing the seating chart this morning either and i had no idea of where these tickets where that i was purchasing. Viewing another venue i decided on row 109a for Toronto thinking they were beside the stage, totally pissed when they finally showed the seating chart to find the stage in the centre of the field. I would have never bought these. After driving my daughter and her friends to numerous concerts last year in many states i will no longer be a sucker and pay a pre-sale fee for tickets again. The JB’s need to get there @#%%^ together…robbing you know what’s!

Unfortunately I had school this morning when they went on sale, so my parents said they would buy my tickets for me. I gave them every possible password that it could’ve been, because I wasn’t given one. I went to school with the hopes that I would get a somewhat good seat. But when I got home my parents said that the site said that all of my passwords wouldn’t work!! I freaked out and tried everything possible to try and get those tickets. I checked my email many times to see if I got an email that said the password, but I got none. At 5:30 this afternoon (seven and a half hours after they went on sale) I got an email telling me my password. I got all excited, thinking that I would get good seats because the email said that many people didn’t get a password, but when I went on the ticket site the only seats left that were available were balcony seats about 15-20 rows back, basically nosebleed seats. I honestly feel cheated out of getting good seats, because I paid 35 dollars for Team Jonas to get pre sales on tickets, but I got nothing out of that. I do love the Jonas Brothers, they are my all time favorite band! I just think that they handled this ticket sale very poorly and a lot of fans were cheated out of good seats.

I have finally learned how to get excellent JB seats costing no more than the face value on the ticket. I do want to say that the guys are NOT at fault here. I believe they try every idea they hear of in order to get the best tickets into the hands of their fans – they care enough to do WAY more than other artists. There are still improvements to make tho, but it’s not THEIR fault.

It took us for ever to get ticks but we did after 4 hrs did not realize to go to live nation direct!

I wanted to purchse tickets as a birthday present to my daughter, but upset that tickets are almost sold out before they even go on sale.

I got great floor seats because my mom paid attention to the ordering process. On the Team Jonas website, they have information about the process and how to get the best possible tickets. The Jonas Brothers really do try to give their fans the best possible experience; they have absolutely no idea how many people are going to want tickets. If you followed the directions and logged onto the sites (ticket and Team Jonas) before 10:00, then you had a great chance of good seats and website access. Stop hating and cut the guys some slack. It’s not anyone’s fault on the matter of whether you got tickets to see the guys.

im so happy i got amaZing seats !! it took a while to load, and i stayed home from school but i ended up with VIP 5th row seats to IZOD center and 17th row seats right on the catwalk to nassau colesium 8th jonas brothers show and can’t be happier !

I told my mom this morning to buy my tickets. She told me to wait until I got home at 8:00. I checked the tickets at 3 pm and floor seats are sold out. I wanted floor seats. I guess I’ll never see JB up close…

Some of you have to chill if you read like the terms and stiff it tells you that team jonas isn’t a ticket club it’s a fan club…it even tells you that tickets aren’t guarunteed…

I am not saying the boys themselves are at fault, of course not, they are kids for one thing, and they do not personally run the fan club site. However those running their site are at fault for this especially if something like this has happened in the past. As far as them still trying to figure it all out, there are other musical acts out there who don’t have this problem. I purchased No Doubt concert tickets through presale just last month and it went off without a hitch. I’ve only bought tickets for all concerts using presales for the last couple years and never gone through this before. There are plenty of successful templates out there for them to look at. Maybe with the new code I was emailed I’ll buy some more tickets and sell them on Ebay to make my $35.00 back considering my pre-sale seats are terrible and I would’ve been better off just buying when they go on sale to the public without half the headache I’m sure.

Rather than giving fanclub members their unique pre-sale codes when they first join, or email them out a day or two before the sale….

… they wait until the very last moment, as the pre-sale starts, where every single member has to log into their website simultaneously.

They were literally BEGGING for their site to be flooded, and crash.

Give the passwords in advance, and the site won’t get flooded! True morons that run that site.

Definitely a bust in Cleveland too. Read the “tips” on how to get pre-sale tix and made sure everything was in order for 10:00 am. I ended up having to purchase an additional fan club membership to get tickets because their site was down. What a crock! There is not even a “contact” on the fan club site for me to ask for my money back for the original membership fee. Does anyone know how to contact someone about this?

I do not in any way Blame JB however they could have looked over some of the complaints MANY fans have been talking about over the past few weeks concerning pre-sale terms. As to how we get our codes and ALL the shows on sale the same day.Most of their fans would like to go to more than ONE show, but we only get one code for one show? We had no problem getting tickets with pre-sale for July 10 show. The site did NOT crash for us,at 10am we received our passcode and was able to buy 6 tickets as was stated in teamjonas when we joined.WE GOT FLOOR SEATS SEC 1

I understand people being upset. I was a nervous wreck about getting tickets after getting them from Craigslist last year- Nosebleeds for 200 bucks! But you have to remember that the band is not sitting somewhere crashing thier own site or even getting a kick out of it. They are probably very upset about this. They have nothing to do with the site crashing. Luckily I got my tickets and I am sorry for those who had trouble but I am sure the boys would love the fan club to all have front row but that is impossible!

Had the same problem with not being able to even login to Team Jonas for the New Orleans show. Had to purchase another membership and ended up with seats in first level. Love the Jo Bros and am very happy to have these! We then received an email with our password 7 hours later. (Same thing happened to me last summer for the Burning Up Tour-had to purchase another membership then too. Wish they would email us all our passwords ahead of time)

It took my friend and I about 4 hours just to get 3 tickets from Team Jonas. It was ridiculous. Her Mom waited online since 8:30 am to get them for us but of course, site crashes. We ended up paying $90 a ticket for Section 2A row 12, which sure, just past the floor seats but not amazing seats. I’m kinda pissed, but I guess it’s worth it, idk.

I’ve been a fan since 2005, and got to go to my first ever Jonas Brothers concert last year. For this tour I knew tickets were going to be hard to get so I joined Team Jonas, hoping that with the pre-sale I would have a better chance of getting tickets. I logged on when I got home from school and saw that the site was busy, I kept trying and after a couple of minutes got through. I got really good sites, level one, and even though it was hectic, it was worth it all. Jonas Brothers rock, can’t wait for August!!

I understand everyones frustration with the ticket fan club pre-sales,but everyone must realize nothing is guarenteed through ticket master or the Team Jonas Fan club. If you did the research like, I did and found out the best and worst possible senarios, you would have been pre-paird for the crashing. We all know the Jonas Brothers are in high demand and their fans usually tend to cause havic and chaos in adoration where ever the band appears. yester day I got on Jonas Brothers Fan Club and it was really really slow! I finnaly got ot the page were you check off a box and press continue but… continue was not there. I was ticked. so luckly I was already on ticketmaster and the second tickets I got were 2nd row tickets! but I still had to buy a membership when It was all said and done. but friend e-mailed all the diffrent people she could and explained what happend and got a $35 refund…… Thats my crazy JB pre-sale ticket story… lol

I purchased a membership solely for the purpose of buying my daughter these tix for her Bday.it as nerve wrecking. I also was booted off the site several times. But greatfully I was able to purchase ok seats, looking forward to experiencing this with her.
